I concur. However, I think Russ has completely gone mental! Anyone who works out on the plane ride to the next contest, and talks to himself( running plays and whatnot), needs serious therapy. I think the life coach he had when he was in Seattle was more akin to a therapist than a life coach. When that dude passed on, Russell declined at an alarming rate. It would be refreshing for everyone, albeit Seahawks fans and Broncos, if he would just get back to his roots and be a team player. I hear he had his own office at Bronco headquarters. The only time he goes into the locker room is to put on his gear. He had alienated himself from his fellow warriors. You have to go through his management team to speak to him. What a douchebag! He needs to get his shit together or it’s going to be a rough ride, whether in Broncos country or any where else. I feel sorry, deeply sorry for any Broncos fans.😢

One Fun little thing that shows how dedicated Geno is to the game, is that he spend years on the Sidelines with his Helmet on. Listening in to all the playcalls and communication. Sitting, learning, absorbing and waiting. And when he got his chance, he took it and ran with it. Now it's up to him to keep it up.

And I must say after reading the comments from Hawk fans. All is good between us and Brandon lol. The script has been flipped since we own both teams picks. I wasn't surprised to see Geno start in Week 1. He had limited snaps in preseason, and though they didn't score a lot while he was on the field, he looked good back there, in command of the offense, made good throws, and took care of the ball. That's a Pete Carroll quarterback.

I'm so happy that Geno's doing good, ofc I'm a seattle fan, and I really do hope we make the playoffs this year. Im sad for Russ, but as I've commented on a different video of this guy's, saying that I knew he wasn't going to do good, because russ just came from incredible coaching for 10 years, to a ROOKIE head coach. But I personally think that Geno deserves it. I just have no clue what we're going to do with those two first rounders. I hope we don't try and get another qb, and just trade Geno, I really hope that we just focus on our defense, and make it one of the best defenses in the league. Or maybe trade the picks. Idk 🤷🏽‍♂️

Who the coach and gm is for your NFL team and how long they have been coaching the team matters. Teams give up on them quickly and then u have a revolving door of new coach's and guns....and it affects the play of everyone Also. Seattle got a lot of crap about their o line. They can run block good all those years but not stop Russell from getting sacked. Now in Denver same sack problem, even worse. What's the common denominator? it's Russ holding the ball s long time while also moving a lot, preferably to his right. Those linemen can't see backwards. They don't know Russ is going take off cause can't see the open player in the pocket. That's never changing.

The quality of Geno's throws this year are amazing ..that part isn't coaching. I'd light to go back in time, have Russell drafted to the jets and Geno to Seattle with LOB and Lynch and see how that turns out. I do believe Russell would not have quarter of billion contract right now if he was playing at all Geno was given up on too soon when he was younger. Since Geno wasn't some high first rounder, he got a short amount of time when very young to be judged on a sh*t team. Manning. Aikman breeze ..what if they were given up on just cause when they started they sucked at first? Anythings better then the foolish drama Russell brings to a team.

I think without two big personalities at odds, this Seahawks team seems far more united and it makes the coaching more effective. Geno is a solid starter at worst and genuinely great at best, but the subtraction of Russ seems to have greatly improved team chemistry which has big benefits too. I agree, it seems like we upgraded at least our situation. That's not even mentioning the rookies we drafted with Denver's picks.

my one argument would be that the hawks drafter NUMEROUS tackles, guards, and centers for russell in the first couple rounds. I think we expect all qbs to be top five right out of college. Every one plays better with a good run game and a solid defense. Throw the ball under thirty times and control the clock, make good coaching go decisions. Geno's passer rating progression is consistent with the premise that he is a top 3-8 QB, although it's not proof 2013 66.5 2014 77.5 2015-2020 83.93 (2 starts/11 games) 2021 103 (3 starts/4 games) 2022 107.7 (7 starts) His production could decline some as teams adjust to taking away what he does best, on the other hand he could improve some as he gains more in-game experience and the coaches scheme to his strengths.

Really sharp turnaround from the lad. Offense is finding youth and young talent, becoming more explosive in some areas. Great rookie class thus far. It’s so important drafting quality players past the first round. My Eagles went from 4-11-1 to 9-8 and playoffs due to a lot of help from the rookie class, not just first rounder Devonta Smith. NFL landscape has really been changing since last year

I am a Bronco fan, and a USC alum. There were a lot of whispers about coach Carroll in Seattle, but you never doubt the man. He made my four years at SC the best of my life. I know that his players would go to hell and back for him, he is a master motivator, and squeezes the most out of opportunities (except that one time). That's why I am not surprised the Broncos got absolutely fleeced, by a dude that can sell a salvage Ferrari for triple the Bluebook value.
