02:19 the plugin (not demo version at least, don't know about the demo version specifically) can do stereo to stereo just fine (it was introduced in v1.0.3 IIRR).

I like the first preset a lot. Like, a lot. I haven't played around much with the others because I like clean sounds a lot.

I liked that one too! I was pretty optimistic in the beginning, but I feel like there are too many kinks on this one 😕😕😕 I wanted to like it

Love your videos my brother! Every single morning i watch them!! I’m excited to watch u teaching how to create a lofi backing track with beat, piano bass etc ! 😍🙏🏻❤️

My brother!! I appreciate your nice comment!! I hope I get the chance soon to make the loFi track, I got a figure out a way to make it accessible for people too, I need to find plugins and sounds that people can already have or that maybe are very inexpensive I can’t expect people to have or buy a couple thousand dollars worth of plugins just to follow along 😅😅 that’s the biggest complication, how would i do it without having to sell the products that I’m using just because this is my job and I’ve gathered the tools through years. Not everyone has the same daw and so on, But, we’ll get it done somehow, it’s just a lot more prep work! Thank you again for your continued support my brother!!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

21:57 Feature Request idea : option "filter" out certain blocks/fx (like reverb) when loading rig presets. I will submit it to them.
@djabthrash9 ай бұрын
11:32 Why would it change ? These are 2 separate blocks... Just use global ("rig") presets of you wanna change several blocks at the same time...

- For most people the cab is as much if not more part of the overall sound than the amp itself, and using "mismatched" combinations is super common. Using the "matched cab" is not the BEST sound. It's just a combination, among others. Some of the best sounds ever made were made with mismatched heads/cabs. - Also : which cab would be the match for a given ampsim ? "Albion" is a Marshall inspired ampsim, but there are like dozens of different Marshall cabs in the DynIr secton.

24:00 I'm not surprised at the reverb thing on most presets. Presets are kinda for noobs, and noobs love sounds smeared in reverb :) This is why i barely use presets. I recommend you just disable the reverb block, and then maybe try to use just BLOCK presets (not global ("RIG") presets) instead : presets for a given ampsim, for a given DynIR cab, etc.
@djabthrash9 ай бұрын
1) 26:15 you tried only 9 out of like 150 presets 2) presets suck in general anyway I've been using the plugin for a couple of months, not really using any global ("rig") presets (besides maybe ones for the individual blocks just to try things out) and i love it. EDIT : you barely scratched the surface in terms of the different ampsims (including the CODEX stuff, which is a thing in itself, because it loads customer-made profiles of amps, pedals, etc) and the DynIr / IR thing.

Yeah, I can see all that. But I’m not “trying to make it sound good” I spent over one hour with it, and just got fed up with so many little kinks and quirks that it’s got, felt like a brand new plugin by a Brand new company, lots more of mistakes to be made, It’s just not a greatly developed product yet, maybe Genome 2 🤣🤣🤣 it really is a great proposition, but it doesn’t really deliver just yet. The competition is fierce in the ampsim world, but, I can’t wait to see where they take this platform in the next 3-5 years, I’m excited about the future, just not about the present. I instantly feel that for me and my requirements, amplitube and neural are light years away from this. And I read all your comments in my email, you seem very knowledgeable, and I can imagine you understand what I’m saying and doing, I can sit here and defend or attack a plugins, but the point is, bringing my experience with other digital audio tools and see what’s up with all this new emergent products and technologies. If this was a “can I make genome sound good? Challenge” I already know I can. Would it be worth it, no, when there’s other tools that give me what I need with 10% the effort. It’s simply not there yet, if you have any connection with two notes, I would be happy to consult with them, and work in a professional level with them, it seems like you really have a connection (at least emotional) with the company, I can read it in your comments, I don’t get emotional when I do this simple demos, i just play, badly if you want to say that, and I listen and feel, if things doesn’t sound feel like I know awesome equipment should, I react to it. I hope you have a great day my friend! I appreciate your contributions to this subject, I’m sure all of us in this community are happy to read what you have to say! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 rock on friend! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

@@ItsjorgelanzasWow ! Yeah you got some things 100% right. Here are some things i can say : 1) Genome is more of a sound production tool where you start from scratch and can tweak many things, whereas Amplitube and Neural Dsp provide more of a "ready" sound and specific sounds also (ex : Cory Wong, Mesa Booogie presets, Joe Gojira guitar tone, etc). Kinda like Superior Drummer 3 vs Steven Slate, for drums VSTi 2) i've been a customer of this company since the early days and i know their CEO a bit :) However, i can totally understand that some people don"t dig it. But they maybe would see things different if they knew about point 1) made above EDIT : I wouldn't say i'm EMOTIONAL about the subject but i'm definitely PASSIONATE af about it hehe 3) I'm a tone tweaker and I like to make the most of what i have instead of chasing / trying out new things and expect them to sound good right away, so Genome is a perfect thing for me :) 4) Something really cool about this company is that they really listen to their customer base and implement a lot of very cool updates (some suggested by users, and i'm a big part of that too :) ). I'm really invested into this plugin because it's so powerful to me already and i also see a lot of potential to make it even better. 5) I find interesting to see how people react to it (even if they have an opposite approach to mine), and i also reflect on things and learn new things (sometimes by accident) that way :)

I got because the eq is cheaper alternative than fabfilter pro q 3…bad move?😂 the amps just sound off to me, and the contour is such a weird choice. And I agree having to switch the cab each time is annoying, but I don’t know how they would change the software since they’re dealing with 600+ cabs that people may or may not have.

Yeah, a bunch of things didn’t make sense to me when using this one 🤣🤣 but, there’s a lot of potential, I think genome 2 or 3 is gonna be INCREDIBLE!! Hope they keep it up. Thanks for your comment my friend! I appreciate you! 🙌🏻
