Genshin Players call Character Events as Banners and they change every 30 days or so. There are two types: The limited and the standard. Limited is limited time while standard is permanent. The yellow is good because it means you got a rare item/character. HOWEVER, that rare item can either be from the limited or from the standard. (I know, a dumb yet effective marketing strategy. A permanent item having a chance to be obtained through a limited time event.)
