The thing is, this is probably the first year Genshin has real competition and they have been improving bc of the fear they have bc of that, so they might give more rewards, similar to HSR (at least I hope so)

Most of the improvement are not from fear, but rather they have been planning for it for a while now. Evident from Fontaine has been nothing but QoL patches after patches after patches, and beta tester confirming things that people asked for quite some time before competitor coming through, including the increase resin, which people said has been due to WuWa, but actually it's been beta test before WuWa hype. With that said, the reward being bigger due to competitor is a possibility tho. But most improvement are not exactly due to competitor.
