Yeah I went into super save mode after getting Navia this past summer. I did make a few wishes when Chevreuse was on a banner since I REALLY wanted her. I was going to skip Xilonen, but then learned she'd be great for the team I want to build for Snezhnaya so I thought, "Hey I am close to 50 wishes, let's try." Got her on the first role haha, so now I am back to save mode and am over 40k primos so far. As much as I would love to get Chasca, I honestly don't need her, so I'll probably only wish enough to get Ororon (if he's 4 star) because I rather have Mavuika IF she turns out to be a DPS unit (which I hope is the case, but I know we have a lot of Pyro DPS units already).

Bc the majority of archon quests have such useless unnecessary dialogues that are so uninteresting and makes me sleepy and those parts shouldn't even have been added into the game. It's basically just there to waste our time and storage just like the majority of quests. A simple skip button would not hurt anyone and it would be the most helpful thing ever. Especially for people who don't have enough free time to spend 5+ hours on quests everyday. If y'all are lore players than you can simply ignore the skip button and just read everything. While us players with busy lifes are going to need to use the skip button a lot more often bc of how busy our lifes are. So it's a win win situation and nobody gets hurt by a simple SKIP BUTTON.

Imo it been 3 years since a montadt region update it feels like mihoyo gave up on that region, plus venti act 2 list continues. It has 120% resistance so probably ur elemental attacks won't even work but they mentioned a cycle, so probably 100% resistance to one element only, 2 dps, one shielder and healer/support would be enough

Genshin stepped up their game when Wuwa released. But, even then, I doubt they will alow a skip button during main/important quests. Hangouts and unit story quests at best.

Okay with the 2 flying Saurians, yeah they would be needed to help traverse the new area because we're not in Fontaine, we can't swim there and it doesn't look like we have those boats you can use in Inazuma, Sumeru, or Fontaine either since we used Saurians to get around on water. Also it looks like I was correct on where the Masters of the Nightwind are at least because there's an NPC near one of the border there from that tribe. As soon as I saw the Drip marketing too, I had a feeling the Flower Feather clan would be next too. I'll be curious when the Collective of Plenty's tribe will be at when they get dropped. Fishing in gaming is one of my fav past times, so I was quick to notice the lack of a Fishing Guild and no fishing areas, so I am very happy it's finally coming. As far as 5.2 chars go, I want to go for Chasca, but I'll probably do enough to get Ororon (if he's a 4 Star), since I'd like more Electro chars, BUT it'll depend on what his kit is. If Geo and Hydro daddy are coming up too, I have no plans to pull for either. I am fine with my C1 Neuvillette and I am still doing fine without Zhongli. I'd rather get someone I really need. I was thinking about the Pyro archon LONG before we got any teasers since I was looking ahead to Snezhnaya (I started thinking about this around the time of Lantern Rite). I already am selecting chars for the land of Cryo since I know as amazing as my Neuvi team is, he's biggest weakness is Cryo and he's not that great against Hydro either. What I am saying is, I am banking on the "Final Archon boss" to be a Cryo fighter, just like the Narwhal was half Hydro (I had Alhaitham at the time, thank goodness). ANYWAY, what I am saying is if Mavuika's kit is going to be that insane, I'll definitely be getting her. It sounds like she'll be similar to Raiden too because is she like a DPS/Buffer unit too?

Would have been nice if they actually mentioned at some point they changed how the compass worked. i haven't used it since release cause it was only the trash wisp that points you in the general direction of the chest. But if it actually gets pinned on your map (not just minimap, if just minimap it's still trash) then that's ok i guess. but is it still just one chest or is it all chests in your immediate vicinity like WuWa and the last two summer events? Having it detect challenges and hidden chests is so nice though. now we can go back and clear out previous regions we dont quite have at 100% yet... except dragonspine, chasm underground, and enkanomiya since the compasses dont work there (correct me if im wrong on the 2nd and 3rd). If they are truly adding the skip feature to Story and Archon Quests and not world quests, the community is doomed. We already have many people coming into comment sections trying to say things about characters that are completely wrong cause they dont pay attention to the story. Putting a skip button? That will just increase the occurance of that tenfold cause now a lot more people will just be skipping the story altogether. How they should do it, is if it detects your account is viewing the scenes for the first time there is no skipping. but if your account is viewing it for more than the first time (like with using a different server), then you have the skip option available. I am sure they have the capability to detect if your Hoyoverse account has viewed certain content before. After all, they're gonna need to do this for the upcoming feature in HSR to delete past resources.

I'm sure you're already aware but a skip button would be nice for players that either are not invested into the story or those whom do not have a substantial amount of time to play Genshin Impact. The players that incorrectly interpret story information due to a lack of attention should not be an issue because they can either watch a recap video on the quests or re-read the quests. If the previously mentioned players are in-fact going into comment sections and providing false information a fellow player could correct them, provide a point of reference so they can re-read the parts they interpreted incorrectly or ignore them entirely. And yes, there are going to be players that are not invested into the story. The issues boil down to; the pacing of the story is not to the liking of the player (being too slow or too reiterative) or the player is more interested in exploration/combat, which are both viable areas of interest. A skip button would be a very good quality of life addition to the game as it would allow for consistent gameplay interactions. Now that quest summaries have been added into the game there really isn't any good reason to deny players a skip button. After all, this feature could ensure that some players have a fun experience. Also, please keep in mind that my intentions are to provide an alternative perspective and add nuance to this topic. I am in no way trying to dismiss any concerns that you may have, I only want to point out the importance of a potential feature and how that feature could benefit some players. Furthermore, I agree on the ability to skip sections that were already played/viewed as this is would be another quality of life improvement. A good example is the fact that the battle pass scene can be skipped each patch.

Recently someone was claiming Iansan has a Pyro Vision when duringbthe cutscene of escaping the Night Kingdom she is seen using her Electro Vision. This is info you would not learn if you skip the cutscene (at leadt until she is released).

I did notice that this patch, that further supports it as a good example of quality of life. Yes, this is a situation where the other player can either be; corrected, provided with a reference point or ignored. I can also understand that some players would think that Iansan was a pyro vision wielder based on the Teyvat trailer and so, I could not fault them. Again, it depends on the investment the player has when it comes to the story. Those with little investment are far more likely to benefit from a skip button as it would allow them to get to the part they are invested into. Other areas of investment consist of; character building, exploration, overworld combat and challenges, Spiral Abyss, Imaginarium Theater, teapot development, limited events, etc. All are viable areas of investment and those players should be allowed to have tools/features that will benefit their desired experiences. Unfortunately, there is a substantial lack of balance and priority of these experiences.

Also Players who uses the sip feature could just watch someone play the story, on KZbin. For the lore. Not to mention some devices can only handle playing the game, and hates the cinematic cutscenes. Easy dislike just on the fact that you recommend that they don't add a skip button like are you crazy? You think I'm going to spend God knows how many hours trying to play, catch up with this game and not be able to skip. I'm like literally that's what the archives are for. If you want to go reread the story in the game or just go on KZbin if you want to play catch up with the story cuz a lot of people make lore videos

I have done all the fishing weapons R5 and the achievements…. I kind of like the fishing 😅 Zhongli is not a dragon. 🐉 We don’t need a skip button for Archon quests… or at all.

@@yagaboosheekasga7129 oh, well I dont contemplate that completing 36 stars was mandatory. Sometimes I did 30, now I usually do 33, and once I did 36. But in summary, I never felt the need to complete the Abyss to feel whole 😄 Oh, and good luck if youre aiming for the Pyro Archon👍
