Lmao. It started raining. I kept getting frozen. I lost Yelan and Nahida. I chipped her down with Zhongli to like 0.1%. But then I fat fingered the food bag and it brought up the resurrection food prompt right as she went into Fusion Nova mode. I paniked and fat fingered Kuki's ult, it killed her right before the frost nova blew me up and I still got the achievement because she's built EM so the rain hydro + electro did like 10k damage.

The hardest thing when encounter these kinds of bosses, is having to wait for them to respawn. This and the Polychrome Trio give me headache lol

It's fine to get hit, but when she's using her hovering attack, dodge all of it no matter how many times she does it if you want achievement 3.

I think also dodging those explosive barrel, i still fail despite not getting hit not even from i frame or doing i frame burst because people said it also count like the 1st local legend series. But i remember taking hit from those barrels

TIP on achievment 3: when Rilai starts casting her ULt you just need to climb the east wall and you will be safe ans will not reset the boss, then wait till she finish and go bask to fight her.

I can confirm this works. I was trying to climb the stones around the area but she still gets you with the ult. Just climb the wall and you’ll be fine.

This one is MUCH harder than Sappho. The problem is if she lands any Melt hit on you, it's basically 200% of your max HP. And you can't really go anyone melee against her due to her goddamn teleport spam.

Especially because you could cheese Sappho with Furina+saurian bug, but it does not work with Rilai for some reason

3:20 And the most important thing is when she went "Gomen, Amanai." make sure your character have NO Cryo Aura. We know that gonna make us slow and that's not good when evading her blast area.

that fusion nova attack lasts just a bit too long to be fun to play around imo. like if it finished a few seconds earlier it would be fine but as it is it just feels endless, esp when you have to dodge each single one, just waiting for it to end so you can get back to playing the game.

But for a good reason,if it end in 10 seconds and she is at 1% hp,you would still have to wait for the same amount of time before she do the ult again so you can kill her,it took me around 10 seconds to kill her

Do note: Rilai is immune to getting yeeted by Jean, so no lowering her health using huge chunks of fall damage. I tried, she teleported back to ground level the moment I released the skill to throw her. Multiple times at that, so it wasn't just an accident. Can't really cheat this one, gotta do it properly. It's sadly not Capybara 2.0

Yes, just don’t get hit when she’s hovering. If she’s not hovering then you don’t have to worry if you do end up getting hit. As long as she’s not in the air.

Ult animations and shields will void this achievement if you get hit during them. Don't use them as easy outs you literally have to dodge/outrun that part. Safe to not even do damage since the random barrels being thrown out can blow up from an attack and also void it.

I did not get hit by those exploding circles on the ground but I did not get the achievement (she's doing the fusion thing when she died) will try again tomorrow ugh, it's my last one

You can't use i-frames to avoid it. If it hits you during a Burst animation, you fail. Doesn't matter if it dealt damage or not.

I cant get the third achievment at all , ive even tried going to lower world levels in co op and it still wont give the me achievement :( in my world her fusion attacks are constant so i cant go the whole fight without getting hit at some point and then shes so strong i cant kill her quick enough :(

In coop, if you don't get hit but the other person gets hit, you won't get the achievement.

Yes, I got hit by the circle at one point while she was not hovering and the achievement still worked. Just dodge everything when she is hovering. I-frames don't count. You have to be outside the blast area.

@@Quon yea it actually did joined someone with AR 35 and just hit her 2 times to get her below half hp and then once she gets in hower i just 1 tap rest of hp, much simpler and more tolerable than trying to do it on world lvl9

Thanks for the guide! Btw I suggest not using Furina, or anyone who naturally reduces their own HP in their kit just to be safe (unless you just swap to Pneuma stance during her ult). I haven't tested it out but it's possible the game might see that as taking damage during her ult.

Yes, but just the circles when she's hovering. I don't think this includes the circles when she shoots cryo balls up which fall from the sky. Still, I try to dodge them all the same. Someone pointed out you can climb a wall to dodge them, which works well

Ugh, I just killed her, used archon hyperbloom and I killed her like 0.5 seconds after she finished the Nova attack. Here's to tomorrow...

I killed her with Jean's fall damage lol, I was just trying to get her HP down, she was at 25% or so, but she got too high up with Jean's charged attack followed by her skill. Hoyo really has to stop making these enemies in the world, just put them in the Wayob with infinite resets. Thankfully, these time around only 2 are outside

I used Raiden-Nahida-Yelan-Furina team, but Furina was the most important here. I just let her as healer during the fight, and switched to agressive ousia mode when Rilai was almost dead (like her last HP weren't even visible anymore). Then waited to her Nova attack, used Furina's skill and dodged until Furina's pets (and Raiden's skill) finished the job ! That's how I did, I don't know if it can help you or anybody else. I hope you get the achievement next time, good luck !

@@Gennosuke1983 but it's part of the challenge, if you can just infinitely reset then there's no real challenge to it

@@Lennyxx You do realize that the challenge is identical if you can do it once per day or how many times you want. You still need to meet the same exact win criteria. The only difference is, the legends in the open world are time gated to 1 attempt per day, and nobody likes time gating. Furthermore, we have no idea if we failed or succeeded the challenge until we kill the legend. And some challenges are really tricky like don't get hit, don't thaw the flames or whatever (which can happen by accident). And as some have pointed out, you get hit during ultimate but you don't take damage, so you have no idea you got hit. Either put all legends in Wayob with infinite retries or at least have a Failure notification like any other challenge in Genshin

@@Gennosuke1983 But they aren't just "any other challenge" the whole point was to make harder bosses for people complaining that everything was too easy. Sure the requirements are the same, but it's not the same. When you do it with infinite try it's so easy it makes me fall asleep you don't even have to be worried about failing it's literally just braindead fighting. I much prefer the ones that if you fail it actually matters. If local legend taking a while to respawn because you keep failing is what's bothering your game experience then you're clearly not the type of player they were made for, I still think it's too easy and I hope they make more harder ones soon, being able to finish everything in 3 days is boring.
