@@sixsixsik Fischl/Shinobu is a better electro option for him! Sethos best team is aggravate, so you don't need to use Xinqiu, but you still can do it tho. You can play him with a team like this: nahida/dendro MC, kazuha/sucrose, Fischl/Kuki.

I started playing in 1.3 and only recently got her C6, on the last banner she was on. So... At least I got one Sethos this time around

I find ppl building 4 star characters way more fun because they usually don't get a lot of attention (especially newer 4 stars). It's understandable but a lot of the time you find yourself enjoying the higher difficulty of using less strong characters. Especially ppl that are whales or ppl that are really good at the game.

For a 4*, Sethos is well-designed and functions at C0, rather than all the niche 4*s that requires C6 before they’re worth using. I’m still not used to his inability to move during charged shots- as a (mostly) Ganyu main, it’s a surprise every time. 😅 Since Wanderer’s Troupe is one of his best sets, he was so easy to gear- Wanderer’s and Gladiator are the only sets I have god-level rolls on! Of course as a 4*, his damage ceiling is designed less than a 5*, but as a 4* Damage Dealer, but I like him!

Sethos has been my main since i started playing a few months ago and i love him very much as he (and kaeya) carried me in the abyss, the current banner is the reason why he's now a c6 AND I LOVE IT He and my c2 raiden are my electro pair and they both deal great damage :3

I think Sethos got fucking robbed, is what I think! I built Sethos and I thoroughly enjoy both playstyles. He's definitely not a top tier DPS but he's also no slouch and new players need a good DPS before 90 pulls, and he's great for that So why do I say he was robbed? His first banner was with fucking *CLORINDE!* A character who has the same role as him in a team who can not only use every team he wants, but she can use better teams because she can *self-sustain!* You don't need Baizhu with Clorinde; just use Kirara and you're golden. Better if Kirara is C4 Like, couldn't Hoyo have given Sethos a little time to seem cool and unique, rather than debuting him on the same banner as The Cooler Sethos???

To be fair, I don't think Clorinde is just "the cooler Sethos." Yes they fill the same role and Clorinde fills it significantly better but they play very different. It's like calling Navia "the cooler Itto." I do agree with your sentiment though, he *definitely* got overshadowed by Clorinde due to filling a similar role

His one advantage is that he is ranged so he can be easier to use against enemies like Icewind Suite. It is the same how I found c6 Lisa better than my c1 Keqing vs Icewind Suite because she could stay just outside their attack range even though the damage was slightly lower it did not require any resets. Sethos is like a better Lisa. The really good Sethos players I have seen mostly use his infused normal attacks with a charge attack mixed in here or there. One of his better sets is Desert Pavilion Chronicle actually because of the attack speed buff with 40% attack dmg bonus to charge attacks. Wanderer's Troupe is about the same though but Gilded Dreams is definitely worse than both.

The funniest and most vindicating part of this video for me personally was him having to go find the trishiraite and seeing some of the sick desert stuff he’s been missing (/lh). Having to farm trishiraite was a huge pain though

@@abcabc1442 By genshin language i mean the terms they use to describe what a character does with made up words which in context makes sense but hard to understand on first look none the less so for example, Dummy has to do 3 jingalala and 1 hulala to get jingahula of 4.1% of hilala so this means, dummy has to do 3 NA and 1 CA to get this buff of 4.1% atk increase so in razor terms, 3 na 1 ca and do unga bunga dmg as you can see with each iteration the sentence became less in words and a little easier to understand without opening your talents or passive a 100 times just to see what does what it is good to read the whole kit of a character (I do) but still razor language is a nice and easier way to understand what a character does sorry for the yap I have my free time going on 😅

Additional f2p weapon rec (if you played during 4.7) is Cloudforged (the bow from the security simulation event), its basically tailor made for him due to his energy consumed CAs. It's not amazing or anything but it's solid and he's pretty much the only character who can use it so otherwise it'll just be taking up space in your inventory lol

@Katriella. to be fair, you're not missing *that* much with cloudforged specifically. It's only really good on Sethos and even on him there's better options (granted not a lot of great f2p options but arguably slingshot might be a bit better). Also personally I thought that event really needed some sort of hard mode, as is you could kind of just brute force by playing every unit immediately once it came off cooldown. Even when that strategy didn't work for me first try I'd just restart and it worked the second time That being said, yes I absolutely agree that genshin should archive most if not all of its events like star rail does

I don’t regret it. I built him in a day. he’s interesting. I think he can be fun, like a different flavor of tighnari. Tho I think I need more ER for him to be more overworld comfy. Even if I don’t use him, he’ll be useful in the theatre where he’ll eventually be a pick. I have found Dori to be a really nice co pick in the overworld for a variety of chars, never worry about hp or energy restraints.

I was thinking about the Lyney's bow, glad that you mention it at the end. Fun fact about First Great Magic: if using it on pyro character you are restricted to have 2 more pyro units for the 3 stacks bonus, BUT if using on different element, for example Setos (electro) you can have only 1 more electro for the second stack and 2 more Pyro units. Why is that? The difference between 2 and 3 stack at R1 is 16% ATK, and Pyro Resonance from the team comp is 20%, which means is better to have 2/2 units for element different than Pyro that can make reactions with the pyro ones. For example: Childe national + 1 more Hydro (benny, Xiangling, Candice?) Setos/Fishl + Kuki + Chevreuse + Bennet? for overload I hope you understand what i mean and sorry for the long comment 😅
