It’s also a master class on how inflection and tone can completely change how the same sentence can be interpreted and portrayed. The first time is whimsical. Second is hopeful and excited. In Genshin tho according to legend, Seelie are the remnants of a bygone race that once held beautiful forms and immense wisdom and used it to guide mankind; travelling alongside them and teaching them languages and "philosophies of nature". They had palaces outside the realm the gods currently hold authority over where they had the full control.

Oh you really need to watch some of the cutscenes! Like for boss battles or cute ones! But make sure they are in chronological Order! :D it might be better for understanding if you get some context in between... (Dont know how you woud make the playlist for that ... or someone else for you)

21:24 fun fact. nilou character is heavily inspired by iranian/persian culture. the dances she performs in game/cutscenes all traditional persian dances. theres vids comparing them side by side to real life performances and its soo gorgeous. nilou is short for niloufar which means blue lotus/water lily which you see when she uses her ultimate. i loved her character soo much more seeing how much thought was put into her design 🥺💗

The archons all have good teasers, my favorite being Nahida’s, as for the others, I like Klee’s for it’s cuteness, Hu Tao’s because she interacts with us, Miko’s because she’s doing her own thing, Dehya’s for the obvious reason, and one that’s not in the video and that’s probably because it’s the most recent, Navia’s

Would definitely recommand "PROGENITOR" if you guys haven't watched it. It's a short Genshin animation by talented ppl who made RWBY so it's packed with amazing action scenes. The characters are from Genshin but it tells a completely different story set in a Cyberpunk universe.

The demos show the characters appearances, animations etc. And show them as being fun or fun to play, with just a modicum of their stories. The teasers show their stories and personalities more. You get a glimpse of their hidden side to kind of attract you to that aspect of their character, even if you may not like what the demos showed. So basically Hoyoverse is attacking from all angles to try to get you interested in these characters lol. And because they can't do a bait and switch or burn you to risk chasing you away, they have to keep up the quality as best they can throughout.

About your question as to whether this game is big in Germany. If it’s directed towards because the beginning demos and teasers are ones that started in Monstadt, their world’s equivalent of Germany. Remember that the regions are based on real countries. If it’s directed towards their monetary gain in actual Germany, I would not know. Most of the money they get comes from Asian countries since this is a Chinese game first and foremost. With of course, China being the biggest funders. Western countries don’t have a very high opinion on gacha games, but Genshin still gained popularity.

FUN FACT! (not so fun) the doll metaphor in the Wanderers teaser trailer isnt a metaphor, the Wanderer himself isnt human, he is a construct. a prototype of a living puppet created by his mother The Almighty Shogun. and he really was just cast aside when she made a better puppet to replace him. ACTUAL FUN FACT! as and inside joke from Hoyoverse much of the Wanderers character has a running joke based on Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. eg: at the end of his teaser they say "Id sometimes wich id never been born at all" allso he was gifted with the power of Anemo (air) and his in game lore notes end with "anywhere the wind blows". the wanderer used to belong to a group called the Fatui in which his code name was "Scaramouche" and my personal favourite joke: Scaramouche's battle theme is named "Let's Do The Fandango!".

Personally my favorites are Nahidas en Wanderers purely because of the fact how dark those are which you dont see that often. Their stories are so complex it’s ridiculous once you read through them, especially Wanderer (Dude had more than 5 names😭). Also when he said “how dare you die like this” he was talking about the little boy who told him the story of the ballerina doll. The little boy was very ill, but when the wanderer and the boy found eachother, the boy promised that they would live together forever. When he died, Wanderer acknowledged that fact as a betrayal, since the boy broke his ‘promise’ and left Wanderer alone. This was Wanderers third time he got betrayed, and after that moment his whole involvement with the fatui and the other evil stuff began until some very complex stuff (sumerus main archon quest) happened and he got a redemption arc and turned blue
