A handful of Genshin CC's have access to a test server anyway for new characters. Not all of them need to spend on their actual accounts to make guides. I know at least Brax, Sevy, Zyox and IWTL can do that. Some CC's just borrow another player's account to do a review lol. They have options.

PGR is amazing. The beginning of the game is kinda rough, but I think it's really worth it. Especially since in ~February 23 will come out the most anticipated, hyped, and overall best character to date - Alpha Crimson Weave. How do I know this? Because Global version of the game is 1 year behind China's. And it's not because they don't care or something like that, it's because Kuro Games are still a small company and they want to give themselves time to breath. Anyway, I hope you'll have a ton of fun with PGR and Wuthering Waves! Also, disable the WASD UI touch pad thing on the screen in settings if it's there, just a tip for improving experience on PC in order to make the game not look cheap :D

8:10 I want to add a point to this right here. After the release of patch 4.4 there will be a total of 39 5 Star characters. In order to receive their Maximum value, you need to pull 6 ADDITIONAL COPIES of the same character. This doesn’t even include the character’s signature weapon, which you need to pull for 5 times to get it’s full value. Giving away a single copy of ONE five star character is NOT asking a lot, especially when they’ll delay rerun banners for for well over a year.

Consumers of gacha games can tolerate a lot of crazy stuff though. When I started playing Genshin for the first time and saw how much a single pull costs, I was like "what? and someone really pays for it?!", I couldn't even imagine that this can be real, because at the same time there are a lot of games that cost like ~15$ (entirely) and have content for hundreds of hours (instead of insane 300$ for one character that you might even not use in future, or the game will die and all your characters will vanish too). But it's just one thing. The other thing is pull system in general. We spend a lot of gems for a single pull, we don't have any adequately reliable income of them, which is made in order to milk money from those who doesn't have patience, but when we are pulling, IN CHARACTER'S BANNER, we are still obtaining trash weapons in literally more than 90% cases. Like wth? Why weapons are even here? Why didn't you put 3-star characters here instead? But it seems like the entire community doesn't care. They think that all this stuff is normal, that all these prices are normal, and so on. And the only thing that they are complaining about, is some rewards, which would be objectively tiny in any case, even if that would be 20 pulls instead of 3. Maybe it doesn't seem like this for someone who plays such games for years, but it is crazy. So I don't really see a point of not playing. I don't think that such gacha games worth spending anything on them, because of their inadequate hunger for money. Even if characters would cost like 10 times less, I still don't think I would buy anything there. But I still want to know how story will progress, what will happen next, and so on. And this is also what I think about Star Rail too overall, but of course Star Rail is WAY more convenient and user-friendly, and even more... modern?

Why these content creator just doesnt realized one very simple thing. Even with all genshin creator from twitch/youtube/twitter + all their viewer quit genshin all completely its still could not harm genshin at all. Also I can't believe how clueless overseas player still having absolutely 0 idea of what Cai is doing after genshin 1.0 released. So Im gonna share some insight for you all if you guys interest. So in short, Cai is currently the biggest stakeholder in mihoyo with over 40% stake with him. He is also the Chairman of mihoyo ever since the company exist and only recently hand over the position to Dawei so he can better focus on his R&D for future project. He is the main reason Honkai impact 3/Genshin impact exist in the first place, he is a tech nerd that in the meantime know how to create video game, thus as a Chairman of mihoyo he is also the producer that lead these big project. So why Honkai impact 3 and Genshin impact is so unfriendly to the gamer during his lead. For HI3 it is because one simple reason, they need huge resource to develop Genshin. Its the company biggest gamble ever to date, the early 3 year of HI3 earning is solely to funding their next project which is Genshin. Innitially they thought they just need about 150 dev to be enough to handle allgenshin development. But then they realized they need way more than they thought so. To acquired the resource that needed to fund into genshin they start to pump out new over power character every patch in HI3 until Genshin released. In the meantime they also try to go public into the market but fail to do so twice due to lack of famous IP thus leading to more aggresive monetize model in HI3. Then whats the reason for Genshin Impact to do so badly too? Isnt the game earn them billions already? Well my guess is... Genshin currently has no (producer). Because Cai step down as producer of HI3 and Genshin after genshin 1.0 release. For some reason only HI3 got a new producer to replace and Genshin has non. Thus genshin is basically still be like 1.0 state, nothing has ever change since. So whats Cai is doing after genshin released, he continue to develop their next big title called Project PJSH, but after 3 year of develop he is unstatisfied with the current result of the game so he call a stop and cut off the entire development. Afterward he went to Canada and gather an industry top AI team to futher R&D into the future tech, it is about the same time he step down as Chairman of mihoyo. Seeing so many people mad about a guy that has nth to do with Genshin anymore is abit shock to me. Some even say just fire the guy is so hilarous for me to read. But I can see why everyone is frustrate about it.

IMO Genshin's HQ think they can get away with it like Nintendo is always doing it with Pokemon. I don't think they'll do anything. They'll wait until the heat cools down and keep provide the same shit, but they'll be more careful on their communication (that's the only thing they'll learn). Let me detail : From lot of comments I read under genshin creators videos : lot of people are tied to the game because they spent too much time and money in it. They are too afraid to cut the loss, other people has big FOMO, other are addicted to gambling system. And Genshin's leaders know that and use those psychological flaws against people. Same with many content creators who voices their concerns but came back to their daily routine, I don't blame them though they need to pay their bills... And Genshin's head know that too... And the worst, the blind loud crusaders who want to burn everyone who voice a criticism on their iconic game... Don't get me wrong, I really want people to keep fighting for their rights and I sincerely hope Genshin will prove me wrong, but unfortunately currently they're acting like many other really big companies are acting too. I have to say, I have BOUGHT the vast majority of the 5* on my account. Even going so far as to C6 Raiden and Dehya (yes, even Dehya) and R5 a couple of the weapons, if Hoyo doesn't give us satisfactory compensation, I'm uninstalling and sending them an email telling them they won't get another penny from me. That goes for Star Rail as well. They may be different devs, but it'll hurt the company a lot more. I'll also tell them my money will be going to WuWa instead

I think This needs to Break out of the Gacha Content creator space. Im not sure what the best course of action is...but I do fear that it wont matter if we leave genshin or not...because new people will join eventually and they wont even know that they can protest and have stuff changed like we did. I dont think they even really care that much about the western side anyway since they only tend to listen to the chinese. They are the ones that will need to do the brunt of everything. But either way, I do think we need to hit a concentrated point in Mihoyo, flinging it all over the company itself wont do anything because its a big company with a lot of sections and not all of it has to do with the rewards. We need to hit the leadership. There is no other way around it. Yes, the person currently in charge isnt the only one who is guilty in this, but atleast going after him would perhaps put some fear into the person whom take over. But no matter what we do, all I know is we need a concentrated point where we can all unite. Otherwise nothing will change.

I found it so disappointing when i checked the updates yesterday and found they didn't change anything about the rewards. It's still 3 wishes and that's it. I don't know if they still plan on changing it after the new patch or during lantern rite, but until then I will continue to be disappointed. I was hoping they'd listen to the playerbase, and they managed to instead give a third middle finger to said playerbase.
