glamoth , fireflys homeplanet created human soldiers to fight the Swarm, they gave them fake memories and fake goals. The empress they fight for never existed, as did the kingdom. It was only a small republic trying to survive against these bugs. They also made it so that all soldiers have low lifespans and would die so that they wouldnt rebel or be used against them

Let us put aside the story, the game also offer you a lot of content and has many complex mechanisms to explore, honestly almost a 10/10 game

ruan mei isn't trying to revive the swarm creatures, she's trying to study an emanator that happens to be a propagation emanator. the swarm still exists in the universe

Explain to me how it's a good idea to recreate one or how it will do good for the humanity. Ruan Mei is just a lunatic with a title "scientist" slapped onto her.
