We know Alice is very old. The oldest reference to Alice's age we have is in Enkanomiya from the Byakuyakoku collection where she's mentioned as Eris (Enkanomiyan name) and Arisu (Alice in Japanese as her Inazuman name). Eris = "Golden Apple" archipelago.

Oooh I haven't thought of Skirk, but it makes so much sense. The Hexenzirkel is basically the exclusive club for all the mysterious really powerful women working in the background. Skrik just fits so much into this. No way for Signora = J btw, we already know her name, it's Rosalyne.

My crack theory is the tsaritsa was a member, but alice is an outlander so i doubt there will be 2 outlanders in the group. We also have story threads along deshrets age and vishap/dragon plotlines, which have yet to be connected to the members of hzncrcl So maybe a vishap or seelie member.

I have been suspecting about, Ishtaroth faking her death, and... asuming another personality, like.... Alice A god faking his own death has happened before... so... it wouldn´t surprice me if that case happens aggain

I don't think only outlanders are immune to the Irminsul manipulation. I mean we know that Alice is not affected and now Nicole, would that mean they are the 2 descenders we don't knoww about ? I personally believe if Hexenzirkel member has pretty unique way to baypass limitation in Teyvat's law, whether it is because they have certain permission or they find "bugs" or "error" code in Teyvat that they can exploit XD. Also, I'm quite tiring to hear word "Descender" over and over again ahhaha 😅

I don't think they wiped out anything considered powerful unless that specific thing had learned the truth of the world. Any civilization that found out the truth about Celestia was destroyed to keep the information from getting out to other nations.

There's actually nowhere in lore that it says Irminsul can change memories. Is that right? Not one person says that or hint's that it's ever done that even once. Irminsul doesn't change memories; it changes the past -- which various people in game have actually said.

it literally doesnt change the past. the wanderer still DID those actions but everyone remembers it differently. same way the vase is still broken even though he was erased

it changes memories, it's what happened with scaramouche and rukkha, none of them actually changed the past, everything happened as it has already happened, Deshret was still sealed, Nabu Malikata still died, the irminsul still got corrupted, the people of the tatarasuna furnace still died, the raiden gokaden was still murdered, and the akademiya still alied with the fatui to create an artificial god. Nothing changed at all, people just remember it differently, and while in Nahida's case Rukkha's spot was replaced by her, in Scaramouche's case no one put in his place and so everyone was left to fill in the blanks in their memories with some kind of explanation. The only ever moment of the past changing is with when Ei plants the seed of the sacred sakura, that tree was literally implanted (no pun intended) inside reality and everyone though it was always there when it actually wasn't, and without the Sacred Sakura, the cataclysm would have had a much graver impact on Inazuma and it could have actually been completelly destroyed. This was only possible with the help of Istaroth, the god of time, and the sacrifice of Makoto, as well as the understanding by Ei in terms of the real meaning of Eternity.

@@DavidJohnson-ib1dh even though scaramouche “erased himself” he didnt remove himself from time. he had us go back and confront the people he hurt, and nothing changed besides the fact the perpetrator was unknown or misidentified. this means that the past was literally set in stone. irminsul is literally about memories and knowledge, not time. the fact that the allegorical stories REMAIN mean that it is in fact memories and NOT time, otherwise who wouldve written those stories?
