i remember when i first entered stormterror's lair, the first thing i noticed was the music and it was so beautiful and i love how they didn't add any battle music when we came across monsters to fight. this piece is by far the most beautiful piece in the game i think

I wish this becomes an option for other areas in the game soon. I find it jarring to relax to Liyue’s music, only to be interrupted by the battle music because a dendro slime decides to play hide and seek with me. I also agree that this is the most beautiful track in the game, and it shows since they play it during sad scenes in quests.

I love stormterrors lair, when I first joined Genshin. I used to just sit, take it all in. You can hear the loneliness, anger, sadness, grief. You know the music is good when it can tell a story like that.

I've always got a soft spot for pieces that contrast low and high octave notes, there's something really magical about it and the sensitivity with which you play really brings a layer of authenticity to the feeling of the piece. Thanks for sharing Caliko! On a side note, I can't believe this game is free - it's so aesthetic and reminds me of Breath of the Wild a lot, which I loved!

Even after having played and taken lessons on piano for fourteen of my eighteen years, it was only a few months ago when I figured out how to put into words why I actually wanted to play. It goes something like, "when I grow up and I see someone playing music, I don't want to be the person that can only look on in jealously." Even if being in the center of a concert hall packed with thousands of people is what someone might expect out of a "successful pianist," watching things like this remind me that that's not what I actually want to achieve. Since watching you enjoy your music still evokes some kind of jealously in me, I know I have more to improve on. Thanks, really pretty cover!

I hope it's a motivating kind of feeling for you, finding what you want to improve on! This channel is built on very similar feelings, though, in my case, it's more of an "I hope I can motivate someone else in the same way all those early youtube pianists I watched as a teen motivated me." Actual piano lessons gave me the technique to play, but youtube pianists are who taught me how to really, truly enjoy what I play, and love playing itself, outside of the framework of classical music I was in.

Hello! I came across your channel looking desperately for sheet music to A Storm, A Spire, and a Sanctum (Dvalin's Nest) track! I tried to write sheet music myself, but I lack musical knowledge and scolarship, so the results aren't good. I've seen you have a lot of genshin impact music in your favourites on musescore, so maybe you're planning to make this one too? Thank you! I actually very much considered transcribing A Storm, A Spire, and a Sanctum around the same time I was thinking about transcribing this, it was a dice toss really which one I'd pick. Actually, now that I think about it I already started transcribing the one you're talking about, so I might finish it! I don't think it should take too long, I might post it on musescore soon! Good job on catching that I'm favoriting a lot of Genshin sheets lol! I'm in the process of immersing myself in the music, I'm planning on transcribing and recording much, much more from the game
