Then if you like what you see and want more, watch the other Stay Night routes. If you want even more, watch the rest of the fate animes in no particular order.

Well, to give u a little context: Every character in this is a historic, mythologic or literature figure from every culture u can think of. For exemple, you can have Robin hood, King Arthur, sherlock Holmes, Hercules, Oda nobunaga, Alexander the Great... and the list go on. They are not some unrelated character just based on the figures, we acctually summon then. It's one of the appeals to have some confrontatios and interactions we couldn't imagine, the cultural shock is crazy sometimes. The other appeal is that the story is great, it starts weak but gets phenomenal later on. Of the Story Gachas, it is undoubtly the number one, the competition simply can't come close. Buuuuut... the game is old, it's from 2015 acctually . At the time it was okay, but today with us having mobile games with open world exploration and cool graphics I can understand the prejudice

@@CrypticBoss The thing is this game are made originally by inexperienced dev and never planned to be this big. It's written with ridiculous spaggeti code and done by a team of less than 12 people. When the game are first released their server got overloaded within hours and their first limited event basically unplayable because the server is on fire more often than not. The fact that this game became this big is basically a happy coincidence but as a result they cannot really overhaul much for 5 years. 3 years ago this game is actually got full bought by Sony in house dev but it'll be faster to make an entirely new game from ground up than adding content.

It's the final chapter for Lostbelt 6. The most depressing one. She apologizing for her turning from Tonelico/Aesc to Morgan and apologizing for the Fae race who killed Cernunnos. Looking it after completed the Lostbelt 6 felt like an old wound opened up again.

Particularly the chapter that are written by Nasu Kinoko the OG writer like Atlantis (5th lostbelt), Avalon le Fay (6th Lostbelt) and Nahui Mictlan (7th lostbelt) For player it goes to the point that you'll be emotionally stirred listening to a FIGHTING BGM. Some of those fight is just so emotionally charged it's not funny

What I love about FGO is how well they shows the character and how brave they are by bringing a historical people such as Artoria (Arthur) Pendragon, Jeanne D Arc (correct me if I wrong), Gilgamesh and other else into the game and yeah this is turn-based game and I recommend this game for you to try. You can choose between Gudao or Fujimaru Ritsuka (male MC) and Gudako (Female MC) in this game. This game have 7 singularity and it has a story at every singularity.

The pink haired girl is reading the legends of the characters (hence or the books.) which you can directly see during the transition between the knights and the white haired guy to the pink haired girl.

Note that the 2023 ordeal call and LB7/6.5/Tunguska (Tunguska and 6.5 though are approaching) stuff is currently JP only (we're 2 years earlier in the story (thats why theirs a point where It switched to pure fan subs)

Also known as Miamoto no Yorimitsu (yes, she is a gender flip) and identical to Ushi-Gozen. She is a 10th and 11th century Japanese warrior (and exterminator of supernatural threads) from the Imperial branch family of the Minamoto (alternate reading: Genji ).

Ok, first of all, I’ve been playing the NA version of this game since day one and it was my introduction to gatcha games, that being said, this game has a lot of characters based off of historical and fictional characters, for example, the main character in the whole Fate universe, commonly referred to as Saber, is a gender swapped King Arthur. That one girl with the maroon hair and red eyes is Scathach, the trainer of the Celtic hero Cu Chulain(her VA is Mamiko Noto, Durandal from HI3 and Skirk from Genshin). My favorite character is the one in the center of the Epic of Remnant, Miyamoto Musashi, her Saber version is nice but her summer Berserker version is HOT!

First mistaken assumption that has to be corrected here is that there is a comprehensive FGO anime. There is is not. All animation you have seen in these (TV) commercials was created just from them and the opening movies (one for part 1, two for part 2). There are, however anime adaptations with a direct relation to Fate/Grand Order (FGO). "First Order" was a TV special movie that covered the beginning of FGOs story, the (very very story relevant) tutorial if you want. The 6th Singularity (chapters of part 1) "Camelot" was adapted into two cinematic movies. The 7th Singularity, "Babylonia" was adapted into a full fledged two cour anime series. The same team also adapted the finale of part 1 "Grand Temple of Time". There also is another single episode TV special "Moonlight/Lostroom" that takes place immediately before part 2 starts (and that to this day - almost 5 years later - is cryptic and mysterious). And that is pretty much it. of all the incredible FGO content only a fraction has been adopted into anime so far.

Watch fate grand order openings, part 2 (cosmos in the lostbelts) has 2 openings. They are like trailers but longer, with ballin song. Also video '【FGO】【MAD】ARC 1 For Solomon【by 泛式 FunShiki】English Subtitled' is great for showing story without much dialogue since part 1 most of it only has trailers for high quality.

Honestly, I am glad to see you liking every trailer. I started playing the NA version since it came out and I wasn't disappointed by the game. I highly recommand it to you, just the first singularity are boring, but after the fourth one, the story get really good. Also the woman with purple hair you love so much is called Miyamoto no Raikou and in the game she is considered as our mom. Also Saber (The one you called Jean) is the "mascot" of Fate, but never truly appear in a official chapter.

This man is complaining about dropping fate zero because he got bored but watched naruto and was fine despite how boring it is 90% of the time. Fate won't do quick recaps of the previous episodes like naruto does, there's next to no flashbacks. Yes, it's dialogue heavy but it'll reward you for paying attention. The action scenes are very good from UBW onwards and all the servants are already at their strongests and get to the fight immediately because they're in a hurry to win, there's no training arc and very few discussions because that might reveal the servant's identity (which is very bad). Unlike in Naruto where there's posturing for several episodes and when the fight starts it barely lasts 10 seconds, for the vast majority. Most of the servants are heroes from the past or mythology and their abilities are from their legends which is pretty cool if you like history and mythology and if not, the matchups of the action certainly is. Ignore watch orders that dont include the 2006 stay night series because it misses out Saber's plot and several other key factors. The best watch order is for the most part release order. The watch order: Fate Stay night 2006. Yes it has relatively weaker animation compared to the following Fate series and the action isn't as good but it offers the best explanation as to how the world works. Think of it as like watching the first season or 2 of Naruto, boring, long winded and poorly animated but after hundred's of episodes you were rewarded with edo tensei Madara, but dont worry, Fate is around 200 episodes if that and 3 movies for the core story. Fate Unlimited Blade Works series (NOT the movie) Fate Zero. Set 10 years before but it spoils so much of the plot of Stay night with none of the satisfying development and mystery. Fate Heaven's Feel trilogy. Not my favourite route, the dialogue is dense and missing any of it could lead to confusion later on but the action... My word the action is on a level that would make JJK blush. Yes the show is wordy, yes it can be confusing and a bit pedantic but it's not childish like Naruto or My Hero, the characters are a little more grounded and it won't stop the action to spend 5 minutes explaining how every move works. Every servant is trying to keep their identity hidden and their existance a secret so, you're dealing with characters that can clap Edo Madara, go toe to toe with the Alive version with Hashirama cells but weilding that power like a scalpel most of the time... until they don't... then you're in for a spectacle! Feel free to ask any questions and enjoy.

Ngl I stopped reading to immediately type this that saying Naruto is boring 90% of the time is simply hating on it 💀. Like sure you can dislike the show for whatever reason but saying out of 720 episodes, 648 are boring is insane. With that being said, you don't have to hate on other anime just cuz someone didn't like fate zero and I'm assuming you're probably a big Fate fan or maybe only a fate fan. I'm glad I started with UBW and I would never recommend anyone to start with zero either. Watching UBW made me fall in love with Fate as a whole. Now that I'm done with it, I want to watch the movies and even the entirety of Fate Zero. This wouldn't have happened if I watched Zero first. I think UBW balances the perfect amount of lore, dialogue, slice of life, and action to hook someone new into the series. Anyway, thanks for your comment and imma go watch the movies now 🙌🏼

The two Fate anime that are the best entry points using anime, Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Bladeworks and Fate/Zero, are not directly related to Fate/Grand Order (all Fate titles are part of bigger Multiverse called the Nasuverse), so only a few characters are shared between these stories and FGO. I recommend starting with UBW (Unlimited Bladeworks), but as wise (and crazy) man once said "Who cares what got you into Fate? (...) As long as it brought you here."

It’s one of those gacha games where you’re gonna need to put in some time into. When you’re just starting, focus on leveling one character. The game will start to pick up difficulty towards the later singularity. Without a proper team and support you will have a hard time. And the gacha in this game is ABYSMAL, people have spent (including me) hundreds of quartz/gems and not get the rate up character. However, once you understand the game and its mechanics, it’s not that bad. Maybe the gacha will be nice to you and give you the rate up character in a single 10 roll. When I started, my first 5 star was Jeanne Alter aka Jalter (the girl on your thumbnail) from a single ten roll

Yep. If we called Jean Saber with Visible Air, then calling Saber Jean checks out too. XD Takashi Takeuchi who designed the character made such a perfect knight girl design that every knight girl since looks like Saber. Funnily enough it's Noelle who has an ult that's based on Saber's Noble Phantasm, while Jean's E is a reference to Invisible Air, the spell that seals Saber's Excalibur and makes it invisible to hide it's identity, with a bonus of having some wind blasts while it's active.

FGO has been the main gacha for me since 2020. I have 3 accounts in Japan and America. Is it worth playing FGO? It all depends on your requirements. If you want an interesting story and characters with rich destinies, then FGO is definitely for you. If you want to get all the characters from the gacha without investing a lot of money, then avoid it. The gameplay actually isn't that bad, especially considering when the game came out. However, not everyone likes the absence of auto combat. The game will not force you to read the story, there is a skip button. Missed sections of the plot can be read later in the main character's room.

You asked "Is this gonna be dark". AHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA. Yes. Yes it will. Something that the authors put in the mainstory is alot of really dark shit and alot of characters will die and you will cry. And then we have Summer fes, Halloween, GUDAGUDA, christmas and valentine with the comedy. Also, if you look at the pictures of Lostbelt 6 trailers you will see different pictures that describe the world, there is like 3-4 red herrings being presented and the overall story is not what it seems.

Man, I feel sad and nostalgic hearing Risa Taneda's voice in the earlier PVs again. I miss her. I know Rieri is doing a good job as Mashu but I still can't help but feel bad. Context: She went hiatus and underwent treatment for her throat and when she came back, she's mostly gotten minor character roles. Oh well. It is what it is I guess. Atleast she's doing okay. She voiced Kuriyama in Kyokai no kanata, Kaori in Shigatsu wa kimi no uso, Yukina in Strike the Blood, Erina in Shokugeki and of course Mashu from Fate Grand Order.
