Instead using initial name like KA or HS, u just need to make the sub have different style between them. For example make KA have yellow outline while HS have brown outline, so you don't have to type KA and HS for each line. Also it's better if you turn off the shadow. Still a great job for translating this. Thank you so much.

I am using AegisSub, and I can't differ the style in one file (I have to edit 2x). Maybe there is a way, just haven't discover it yet. I'll try looking for it.

@@sponge-windshieldedtranslation In Aegisub if you go into Subtitle -> Style Manager, you can add a new style (On the left side you can create style templates, and the right side are styles available for the current script). Afterwards, just select the appropriate style for the line.

That type of open world game basically don't use main character speaks a lot, or even voice a single line because it's the aesthetic of "players who plays protagonist that doesn't feel like playing as someone else" even Aether or Lumine are the MC, it still feels like they're you, the players. From what I know (a VA had explained this on some video), VA usually get the script and do the recording without even knowing the context of their script, even something like a real conversation usually done in a solo recording session.

@@ichijou_raku159 (*edit, not sound director but voice director lol) no, that's the job of sound director, every line, impression and emotion is directed by sound director, small example is let say Paimon mad about emergency food, sound director will ask Aoi Koga 'to do this', and Aoi Koga will try 'to do that', but whether Aoi Koga did it as the director ask or even better, that will be the one in the final release, (as far as I know) that the usual process of making voice line. Also there's a process called reading (prior to recording), typically this is when the VA will learn about the character

if you are referring to Japanese voice-over, you have to download the voice pack and install it, then you can change it on settings -> Language -> Voice-over language
