The in game designs look older. It's almost like the plot of the manga took place years before the events of the game. Also, hoyo would make a mint if they sold Amber's manga outfit as a new skin.

The girl Donna and elzer the servant are dissapointements. though I guess it's just there way if saying how much time has passed. and how they wanted to be a bit realistic about how ib real life your looks won't always last and you should focus of personality which is a good message .

The characters wasn't an added to the game after the manga the manga was based on the character that was already in the game So obviously they had to make them look more appealing in the manga. As well as a lot of genshin npc looking similar so they had to look more diverse in the manga so you'd be able to spot them because they wouldn't be able to have name tags like in game
