I think the fact that Ronova has chosen to uphold the curse of immortality is ... Horrific. How badly did the five sinners fuck up to make the heavenly principles prioritize their punishment over the natural order of the world???? Dain was right when he said it will take a higher power to remove the curse, but if said higher power prioritized the curse over the rule of death its just... No wonder our sibling believes tha abyss is the answer. Its the only power that can challenge and burn down the thrones, but the price it demands is too much Looking forward to their soulution to this dilemma. This revelation to me makes the different approaches of each faction make more sense

The 5 sinners caused the cataclysm from 500 years ago. I think that pretty much explains it. As far as the Heavenly Principles is concerned, their sin warranted that punishment. If you think about it, Celestia had to summon all 7 archons, lose a bunch of them in the process, drop nails at abyssal hot spots to contain them, created the ley lines to protect Teyvat from the abyss going forward, and with us knowing that the Heavenly Principles has been inactive since the cataclysm implies that it took a tremendous amount energy from the Heavenly Principles to restore Teyvat. Now as per why innocents were also included is something we may discover later on. Also the statement of "The Heavenly Principles prioritizing the punishment over the natural order of the world" doesn't exactly apply, as he and his four shades are the ones who set the "natural order" so as per Mavuika's comment, anyone who dabbles in the abyss is swiftly punished by the HP. Almost as if stating that the "natural order" of Teyvat is that death will only be granted to those who do not dabble in the abyss.

I wonder if Ronova actually liked that loophole, as it allowed her to fix Natlan and death in it, without technically doing anything. She might get in trouble with HP if she did help humans, but this way, she can use her power over death to power the Night Kingdom indefinitely.

@@kotarouinugami1745 I would say so, even tho I'd say she didn't actually get a "death" since Capitano triggered a paradox, he merged his soul with the lord of night, but since the curse of immortality wasn't lifted he's not actually "dead". As far as Ronova getting in trouble for helping humans, it won't be the case. The HP mandated the shades and the angels to help humanity, i think it's more so that the HP probably doesn't approve of the shades lending their power to humans and lifting the curse would definitely get her in trouble from the HP. Ultimately the paradox is this weird situation where Capitano is dead and alive at the same time. Dead because he fused with the night kingdom but alive because he's immortal, but then because he's immortal his life force is unlimited therefore giving the night kingdom unlimited life source to sustain itself.

The Captain sacrificing himself actually works because he wanted to. The pyro Archon deep down didn't want to take responsibility but felt like she had to because this was greater than her. This was the best possible outcome because the Captain genuinely wanted to take responsibility. I completely understand why people are upset that Capitano in a sense died but when a person is in great pain(physically or emotionally) in my opinion it's more moral to just let them go instead of keeping them alive because of our own selfishness to not lose them or because of Morality.

I suspect one of the reasons why Mavuika wanted to sacrifice herself, is because there wasn't much left in her life. She is separated from her favorite little sister. Many of her comrades in arms are dead now. She isn't actually good friends with Mualani or anybody else, although it feels like her distance with Kinich is shorter. Maybe now she'll be able to find new reasons to live.

I keep watching videos of the Mondstat chapter because storm terror's lair, Dvalin, and Venti's 'what is freedom if demanded of you from a god?' really foreshadows the Celestia plot line. I am also so curious on the motives of the hexenzirkel when the depravity of the sinners keeps getting reinforced yet Rhinedottir has been a shadow ally since the beginning.

I think the Sinners aren't bad people at all. Their goal was just to free themselves and their people from being under the oppression of gods. That was their "sin." Their acts were no different from Capitano's - defying the rules of gods for the freedom of humanity. The difference between a freedom fighter and a terrorist is just who's telling the story. And nearly the whole story we've been told has been one that paints at first Khaenri'ah as a whole, and now possibly just the leadership, as awful people, condemning their nation in their hunger for power. But we've gradually come to see that the Khaenri'ahns were never a bad people. And now we're seeing a whole new side to the gods - a Shade that is bored and no longer has "interest" in the fate of a whole nation of humans doesn't seem anymore like the benevolent god whose hand was forced by the evil of man that we've been told.

i don't think the sinners were innocent at all. their sin wasn't liberation, but dwelling on abyssal power that "could shatter this world", as Dain put. at least from Dain's point of view, we know that they didn't even move a finger to help their homeland and all the innocent people who had nothing to do with their doings. they're not freedom fighters (at least with the info we have now). ofc this doesn't excuse the method enforced by the heavenly principles, but we have witnessed how calamitous abyss is to both human and light realms. the sinners were the great pull to the cataclysm. what the heavenly principles did was all but the outcome of it, not its origin. again, this may change in the future due to new info and the constant interference of unreliable narrators, but we now have both Dain and Capitano proving that the sinners were indeed the "starters" of all this process

Yes, they had to shatter this world, because the whole design of this world is to keep humanity under the control of the Heavenly Principles. They deliberately chose Abyssal power *because* it was the only power available to them that had any hope of breaking the shackles the gods put on them. Their obsession with Abyssal power wasn't power for powers' sake. It was simply the only source of power that could possibly defeat the gods. Which is the same reason it was the power sought by Nibelung when he was desperate to defeat them, and the same reason it's the power sought by our twin, who is also desperate to defeat them. As far as we are aware, it is the gods' sole weakness, so it's the only route anyone can take. (Aside from maybe finding an incredibly rare Descender to rewrite fate, which Khaenri'ah also tried, and seems to be what the Tsaritsa is attempting.)

In My Opinion, Captain Got The Rest He Deserved And This Is Probably One Of The Best (if not the best) Act In My Opinion .... I saw a lot of people saying stuff like Hoyo did wrong with captain and that shit, but honestly captain pretty much deserved it. And I guess we might see him again during the Khaenri'ah chapters since he isn't dead. He's just in a coma like state and I doubt Hoyo's gonna remove him from the picture just like that.

Its my favourite too and this reminds me of how someone told me the enjoyment of natlan and fontaine differ. Natlan's story was encompassing most of the overarching lore (which was very good for us lore players) especially stuff hidden a bit deep like the shades, the elemental dragons downfall and replacement by the HP/Celestia, the false sky, the angels...etc. This sadly meant for the average casual player especially a chronic cutscene skipper, natlan's story was confusing to say the least. Fontaine's one meanwhile was very self contained. What i mean is that you can being someone who never played genshin infront of a computer thats just starting Fontaine's AQ and tell them to play and they would probably understand most if not all the plot without context (even the amazing plot twist).

To make you feel better: His story is not over. Devs said his story will continue after 5.3 and dataminers have found ...well stuff he has 3 seperate models, an npc model, an object model and a currently unused and untouched playable avatar model the object model is the one for the throne, its default position is infact sitting down, not doing a t-pose. Furthermore, they also found his sword, under the name "Antumbra" as a Skill Object. He's gonna be playable. But the question is how the story is going to lead up to that, and how much he is going to change . But Considering his sticker, probably not all that much, so i'm expecting for it to go like: The body sitting at the throne is turned to stone, while he comes back with a body that is much closer to his prime, and of course introducing even more powercreep .

First we have Zhongli creating a contract that allows his gnosis to be taken, then Nahida making deals as an excuse to hand 2 gnoses over, then Focalors playing with the details of a prophecy in order to avoid the flood dissolving Fontaine’s people, and now we have a cursed human playing with the rules of Ronova in order to create a paradox that can change the laws of Teyvat… if only the Heavenly Principles wasn’t sleeping, then they would detect this trickery by gods *and* the mightiest mortals 😎😎

Im surprised people didnt like it. this update's AQ made me cry almost as much as the war part. i thought it was beautifuly done. there was a little bit of drag but not as much as the fortress from fontaine. i found myself wanting to do more of the NAQ rather than other nation's quests. even more than sumeru which was based on my culture.

Well not a lot of people really read the lore. A lot of people only focus on the AQ itself. Genshin always tells a story that focus more on characters rather than the whole Teyvat itself. Thats why in Fontaine AQ even if you dont pay attention to lore, you will still enjoy the quest. Natlan however is where the directions is very different where it focus more on the nation, lore and NPC that you met. Natlan as a whole is very different from the whole teyvat. The scenery has very different themes. The technology is way different from what we have witness. The character design is very different from one another. This is where people will differ their opinions on Natlan. For me, Natlan to me is very unique and thats why I cherished it a lot. Be it story, character, tribes or whatever.

I think people really are missing the fact that capitan was a hairs breadth away from the strength of an archon empowered by a gnosis, while being sleep deprived over hundreds of years, body rotting away, and having to constantly reckon with presumably thousands if not hundreds of thousands of grieving souls wailing away for all that time. It’s actually explicitly stated if mavuika and capitano had a no bars held back fight, they would be evenly matched, mavuika held back due not wanting to endanger the people, capitano held back because she held back and defeating her like that would be a hollow victory. Note remember their final exchange of blows, it’s stated in the archive note mavuika used her full power in that punch, and now we know why capitano constantly grabbed at his chest, and mavuika felt the presences within him. Capitano was also severely handicapped in that fight due to the souls trying to escape.

There might more souls present in the Dragonspine area as its ley lines are so fucked up that Monstard's treasure compass doesn't work there. Right? I have a question here: if the Tsaritsa wants the Gnosis to resurrect the Third Descender and use their power, why go to such lengths? If the goal is simply to obtain the will to rival the world, wouldn't the Traveler, a living Descender, suffice? The Traveler is already capable of wielding all elemental powers, essentially acting as a "walking Gnosis." Instead of seeking the Third Descender, why not convince the Traveler to help by offering information about their sibling, or even resort to kidnapping? However, it seems like the Tsaritsa might need the Third Descender specifically, either because of unique abilities that only they possess or for personal reasons. After all, we know the Tsaritsa desires the Gnosis itself, not the elemental authority, as Neuvillette already holds the Hydro element's authority.

We certainly did not see any soul-related anomalies in Dragonspine. Unlike, say, Tsurumi Island. It is likely that celestial nails have the power similar to Irminsul, in addition to creating climate anomalies. Which is why we only see ghost-related anomalies near Celestial Nails in Natlan, where the system is overloaded, and in the Chasm, where was being attacked by the Abyss too.

Celestia Rule is no different than Human rule. Human wars and death are caused by a select few leaders, the real focus in Natlan is the Archon was a "Selection", meaning human's just want to power to choose what God captains the ship. The one thing i noticed about this history of Teyvat is there isn't alot of modern day fighting between the nations. The Archons seem to be responsible for that, because it seems like in the days of Remoria, they were fighting other nations. Also if the "Loom of Fate" is used that might help the captain wake up or His body could be immortal but his soul can now be reborn in a new body. The very funny thing about the Gods in Teyvat is, even if you leave their rules, you fall under the other rules in the honkai universe. Kind feels like the ruler of death used the captain as an instrument in powering the lord of the night, thus finally fixing the leyline problem in Natlan forever. If that was the cause, you'd have to wonder why such a roundabout way of granting an angel eternal life was needed.

Nod-Krai is the next region that will be fully dedicated to in the 6.X patches. We wont just "make a pit stop" at The Doctor's main base of operations and deal with him. The doctor is related to alot of plotlines that are still yet to be resolved and they wont just do that in a single patch or 2 patches. And given the new element, its more than obvious that Nod-Krai will be treated like Sumeru was, dedicating an entire region to its element.

Man I am SO glad I did the story quests and world quests in Natlan up to this point because it really helped make Act 5 better. It's why I told one Let's Player I know that he should tackle those before he does this quest, but we'll see if he sees my suggestion. Needless to say I really enjoyed it! I think it at least as far as Archon quests go it will surpass Sumeru (which I enjoyed more than Fontaine, mostly due to the gameplay mechanics). I am just going to have to sit on it for a bit and think about it because it took me awhile to decide which Archon quest I enjoyed more between Fontaine and Sumeru initially. Sumeru is my fav region overall too since Chars, WQ, SQ and Exploration affect how I feel about the region. While Fontaine has my fav environment and exploration mechanic and World Quest (Remuria), Sumeru outdid it in every other category in my opinion. I won't judge Natlan fully until the whole region is out, all story quests are out, and every world quest is out. Yeah, I am now curious about Nod-Krai. Dottore is my fav villain in the game, he's like the polar opposite of the Captain if you think about it. I know there are people who want him to be playable, but I really don't want him to be redeemed, he's too great as a villain and I want to see him have a glorious fall similar to Classic Disney villains of the past. It's really a guessing game on who else will show up in this part and I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of things is WHEN the Fatui will get that Pyro Gnosis. This does bring up another question, with the situation with Durin happen before, during, or after the Nod-krai situation? Because that'll have to be settled too.

I'm not really mad with what they did to Capitano; he deserved to rest. But as of now I'm still holding onto unhealthy amounts of hopium that he will come back from this 'coma' state later on. What you didn't address is about what Capitano said; the paradox, *if left unresolved*, would shake the natural order of the world and not without consequence. That, plus the 'lore' about his heart, seems to me like another part of his story to be revealed later, when he can even become playable. The only red flag for me is the high possibility of HYV revamping his design, reverting him to something more akin to what they've showed from his past self. I don't want this knight in shinning white armor second coming of Jesus vibe; I want badass, helmet on, og drip Capitano.

No one places importance on it because it is resolved. If Ronova hadn't made a choice to break one of her rules, Capitano would have sacrificed himself and caused a paradox disaster. That's why Ronova was forced to reject her rules, and decided to keep the curse of immortality standing and give up on the death she wanted. Capitano is only in a state of unconsciousness, his soul merged with the lord of the night to keep her alive and change natlan's rules while reforming the leylines. Capitano's resurrection might happen exactly because the curse of immortality technically stands, but who knows.

I will say i loved the quest and i ll agree that the quest might have been a bit too short , maybe we did beat gosoythoth too easily and maybe there was too much happiness in it with feast at the beggining and parade at the end , but with how it was worded i do think that its not the end of natlan s story unlike lets say fontaine which seems to be finished unless project stuzha happens there , and with dottore being send to natlan not only to reclaim gnosis but also to research fake sky is incredibly hype , and who knows maybe he ll even steal primal flame to burn irminsul down and it ll be interesting with how mavuika will be able to play against someone who isnt in natlan to help it but to reach his goals and doesnt have moral compass that will stop him from doing unthinkable things

Honestly, with this quest Natlan became my favourite nation so far - beating Fontaine. While Fontaine has a great story, this just is on another level. I thoroughly enjoyed this entire thing, from the Traveler and Mavuikas last stand, Traveler and Paimons hug (which btw, fcking hell, I cried) and then even seeing the Ruler of Death? And Capitano, being the absolute Chad he is, casually lifts up a blade against the literal Ruler of Death and BEATS HER at her own game, by weaponizing his immortality is one of the most badass things I have seen a character do. Genuinely, loved the Archon Quest, loved the Natlan story - now to see what will come in the future.

I prefer the "Filler" of this variety more then what Fontaine did with us asking people that age old essay question "what will you do if the world was going to end tomorrow" It felt like a mix of how Sumeru handled it's act 5 and how Fontaine handled it. Still giving us a filler but a necessary one as it is quite often customary to hold a feast/a dinner when someone is leaving home to take a major step in their journey and goal what we like to nowadays call a send off The people clowning on the fun parade are most definitely the same people who were being all mad about Natlan having technology and "straying from traditional" those people just can never understand this kind of stuff so just ignore 'em This part I have to speak against, none of the other nations fought in wars with the abyss for their ideals. Every nation fought for it's survival too the only difference being the war never ended for Natlan unlike the other nations who had the leylines to rely on. I think Kohailtechtin mentions in 5.1 that Renova was outcasted or something I think because of what she did and because of that eventually she just didn't care anymore pf whether she got the respect and honour of being a shade or not I think the Heavenly Principles only acts on two occasions 1. Someone's challenge to the rules /breaking of them 2. Humanity's interaction with the abyss. So I never agreed to the idea of them being made over technological advancements as that would've brought death upon khaenriah, vSneznaya, Fontaine Ochkanatlan ages ago before it got to the worst point of their existences And Renova's presence in Natlan confirms that even if the Heavenly Principles themselves is out of commission for the time being the shades are still active but as they're restricted from acting without the permission from the heavenly principles they can't take any drastic steps towards the ecosystem that is teyvat I like how badass Kohailtechtin makes the Angels sound like yeah you might be the shades of the primordial one but even you can't make us bend to your will become it is our duty to assist Humanity and your not getting in the way of our duty. Tho I do not agree with Celestials method I do understand where they're coming from with them not wanting to take chances as there's no telling if one of those same innocent bystander won't do the same thing as the 5 sinner and its not like khaenriah is under the rule of Celestia or the 7 (then 7 now 6) Archons to be able to keep an eye on them. They just threw the whole crate away because the a few bad apples I think the Capitano play works somethings like this, he's cursed with immortality that denies him death but Renova also needs payment in death in exchange for giving Pyro Archons her power over death. So he offer his immortal life which is of equal value but if she kills him her own rule of absolute life is triggered creating a paradox of him being dead while also being alive. That's some 5D chess mind games even putting in words makes my head spin. From what we have from this quest the traveler information and other stuff I am going to play the devil's advocate and say the Heavenly Principles isolation of teyvat was for it's own sake otherwise it too would've met the same end as the world from which the traveler's came and all those worlds that they saw bring destroyed. Something or someone out there (probably the abyss) is hell bent on destroying any and all traces of life. I think the "Ambition for humanity" mentioned in BSAM (I think it was in that book correct me if I'm wrong) was to bring about an evolution of humanity that could natural resist and withstand the abyss. That's why the shades are so heavy restricted from interfering with the human world as it could act as a deterant for evolution of the humans keep getting help from someone stronger. I like the contrast between the different harbingers in the other nations gives us the realisation of how loose the Tsaritsa's leash on them is, giving them the freedom to do as they please caring not for the consequences. I personally don't think the Gnosis are a need for Tsaritsa for her grand plan, at most they are a want and not a need. If you get them you get them if you use them and end up burning them out so be it It's less of a cycle and more of an obstacles for all the civilizations that grow up in teyvat. Original teyvat's dragon civilizations was quite advanced but fell to the primordial one's space invasion after that many civilizations grew and progress but the moment those civilizations tried to connect with the abyss or draw it in they were swiftly wiped out of existence maintaining the stability of this world.

The problem with Capitano is that he was written as Tell Dont Show. And dont get me wrong I love Capitano, thats why I am both dissapointed and satysfied at the same time. He was hyped to be THE strongest person by everyone, and in the end, he didnt even fight the Abyss Dragon itself... His only fight was with Mavuika and he lost... It also feels to ma that after EVERYTHING he has done, he still wasn't appreciated enough in Natlan, I mean he FUCKING saved mavuika life and she... dont even cry about it? or doesnt show sadness? Its fucking burial and Mualani and Kachina talk about vacation, Kinich and Ajaw why he isnt appreciated??? I know that Capitano will probably go back and become playable (since its confirmed his constallation is 3 nails, which represend crucification of Jesus and he represent Jesus and Jesus was ressurected, We also havent got the "Ode of ressurection" even tho the archon quest was named liked that and Pyro Gemstone line still wasnt revealed), but I just dont see how because I see no way how they will ressurect him but dont butcher the emotional impact of his sacrifice. Overall this archon quest is very luckluster. Gosoythoth isnt explained at all and doesnt even feel like dangerous, We made out ancient name but it was useless (we didnt even die, and werent ressurected so whats the point?) Pyro Gemstone description wasnt revealed and it felt cheesy. It just feels like Natlan Archon quest isnt finished. And also I think since Capitano couldnt obtain gnosis it would make sence if Tsaritsa herself went to confront Mavuika

I agree with most of what you said, although I have to say there isn't any emotional impact in capitano's death imo, they had 0 climax for that death. It all feels like the idea is great and the lore even more, but the storytelling fucks it all up and the characters are half baked. I feel like the boss is the best in the game, but it was difficult to understand he's like those abyss creatures that copy enemies, but instead he copies archons and the Sovereign. The boss becomes 10 times cooler when you get it, but sadly it's not even mentioned in game.

Basically, Ronova chose to let the paradox happen, because she did not want to lift the curse of Immortality off of Capitano, due to the sins that had been committed by 5 individuals in Khanri' ah. In a sense, she prioritised a punishment over her payment, so she just allowed the paradox to happen by simply refusing to undo her own punishment.

I think Capitano threatened to cause a paradox by sacrificing himself while being immortal, thus forcing Ronova to decide to either give up on her payment or on the curse of immortality. Ronova gave up on the payment while keeping Capitano alive in an unconscious state, with his soul merged to the lord of the night. So, no paradox happened. Also, to respond to the OP, only Ronova's gaze was there, so she had no power over the sacrifice. That's why she says "Lord of the Night, you can begin". The Lord of the Night makes the sacrifice, not Ronova herself. So, if Ronova didn't break any rule, The Lord of the Night would have caused a paradox by sacrificing Capitano. Ronova chose to keep the curse standing while Capitano enters an unconscious state.

Natlan's story was very well constructed, every scene has a purpose, whether it's strengthening the bonds with the characters, explaining lore or connecting one event to another Vichama had basically 3 smaller arcs for himself, as did Chuychu Guthred's arc was well spaced out and explored at the right moments The party at the people of the springs served to show more of the characters, in addition to explaining what happened at the end of 5.1 with the Ode and the souls, which were further explored later with the ancient name test All world and tribal quests were connected to the main quest Only bad side really was too little Capitano and Mavuika

The amount of times they kept bringing up how many npcs no one cared about died is hilarious. Show, don't tell. Losing Mellus and Silver, who were NPC's, hit a lot harder than this; we can see Navia's behavior changing and maturing now that she is alone, and her mourning them afterwards. I think there's a chance for him to be playable but not in his current form. Yknow how dottore will burn down the irminsul and thus destroying the leylines. Since The night kingdom which functions as the leylines of Natlan and doesn't have connections to other leylines, so what if since Captain conscience is merged with the Lord of the night. What if he after dottore's plan spreads his reach to other nations and becomes their leylines thus seizing control from the celestia and furthering fatui's plans to take authority from the gods. This also could be the reason he is still the no.1 Fatui harbinger.

Ronova is apathetic and governs through rules and she cannot step outside the rules at least not without heavy consequence, per her rules a death is required for use of her power by the Archon and since she agreed the death would be through merging with the Lord of the Night the Lord of the Night gets to enact the death, but since she is an angel and mandated to conform to the demands of humanity and aid them, what Capitano proposed was in equal measure and better hence became an alternative. The Paradox he created might not be one or due to how apathetic she seems to be might not care about the consequences of it hence why she didn't decline it.

Okay, far stretch but my best guess as to what the Abyss actually is would be simply just the way that the Force known as "Honkai" from Hoyoverses other games manifests in the World of Teyvat, or the Universe of Genshin. What makes this Assumption feasible is the fact that the Honkai manifests in any World thats located on Hoyo's Cosmological Structure "Imaginary Tree", and Genshin having already been confirmed to be a World on the Tree. Additionally, theres the fact that Honkai can manifest as any form of rational (and irrational) Disaster imaginable, be it Deseases or all kinds of twisted Abominations, dead set on eradicating Humanity. What makes this Assumption unlikely however is the fact that Honkai is known for developing in severity proportional to the technological advancements of an affected Civilisation, making it questionable as to why a rather primitively styled Nation such as Natlan would be hit hardest, and the most relentless by the Abyss out of all the Nations.

I think the curse of immortality is less about the collective punishment of Khaenri’ah but to keep the cycle of energy/memories through Teyvat free of abyss corruption. Since they can’t risk Khaenri’ahn souls, which may or may not be tainted, to return to the Ley Lines, it was a necessary measure and surpasses other rules. Something I've thought about since 5.0 and I've yet to find it considered...is there not a risk that by getting an ancient name and being recognized by the Night Kingdom, that we could lose our status/abilities as a Descender? I get the Night Kingdom is supposed to be separate from the leylines, but not so much that Natlan and it's people aren't recorded in Irminsul. Unless that is supposed to be the case? Something happened that bound the Abyss sibling to Teyvat, and as we're following in their footsteps, I wonder if we are at risk of the same thing happening.

I think the captain isnt dead yet, why? because i think he was just holding the god of death in her neck and wait for the right time for tsaritsa to do his next move and attack celestia. you see, ronova refuses to abolish capitano's immortality that is why he is playing the field of games putting a paradox to the immortality that it was given to him. you see what i mean is, Capitano is in between LIFE and DEATH right now or in eternal freeze waiting for the Harbingers to pop the celestia.

I have a slight hunch that this is not the traditional conclusion to the archon quest. In other patches x.2 has been the finale for each one (the gnosis retrieved and the crisis solved), but here is 5.3 and the gnosis has not been retrieved yet by the harbingers, so I assume the continuation of the archon quest with Dain will be a major one where Mavuika and the next harbinger will be involved.

I hope you guys realise just how insanely powerful capitano is, he was equivalent to the 4 pillars of strength of khanreah, the 4 strongest combatant during the age of khanreah, perinheri, anfortas etc. he was definitely not some dude in khanreah, due to housing thousands of souls, his body decayed and severely eroded, he couldn’t get a wink of rest or sleep throughout the entirety of 500 years. When mavuika punched capitano with all her strength(stated in archive note), capitano essentially matched her, but the problem was was the souls, we saw capitano physically put his hands out near his heart to contain the souls trying to get out, which is why mavuika felt a presence within capitano when they exchange blows, meaning capitano was severely handicapped not even accounting his severe erosion. Paimon stated ‘so neither of you were *using* your full strength” that means it’s referring to current day mavuika and capitano, mavuika was stated to be holding back but capitano was stated to held back as well, since he held back because she held back for the people of Natlan, so he didn’t want to exploit that. Mavuika stated if they were to have a no bars held back fight, they would be evenly matched. Meaning capitano carrying countless souls that’s constantly tearing at his own soul and mind, not letting him rest at all also severely weakening his power for 500 years, is basically equivalent to mavuika with a gnosis and divine throne, remember this guy’s power come solely from his own strength, he doesn’t have any fancy ascension. He was able to match the pyro archon with the gnosis at his very weakest, imagine what he could do when he beared the title of sentinel knight.

Okay, can we now talk about the throne Arlecchino sits onto in her character demo (at 0.30)? Cause the moment I saw Our Man sitting on the throne, I had a flashback of that scene... Oh, and if we watch it further, we see eye symbols, she is black and red themed.... Her arm has a discoloration similar in manner to the Sustainers... She walks in the sky then sits onto an ancient throne...

I wished the archon quest was more emotional to be honest, just like Sumeru's and Fontaine's, guess I liked that side of the story more. Other than that and the fact we never knew what is that secret Mavuika was suppose to share with the traveler, it was a good quest, it even allowed for a world quest characters (Bona & Coco) to appear and help us IF we do the world quest first, I am also glad that for once we ended the main story of a Nation with the gnosis staying with the archon. However, there are still some more lore we needed, like we never got to hear some really good stuff like he used to after the final boss. Well, there's always Mavuiks's 2nd story quest which I have no doubt it will drop some nice lore.

The Captain had to sit on the throne because his body couldnt handle the weight of his massive balls. His arc had a nice conclusion, but i do agree he was severely underused. Reminds me of La Signora. If you listen to her theme song, she is actually dead set on fighting the Abyss and purging everything related to it. Her song makes me want to hear a lot more about her backstory, but all we get is a metric f**kton of arrogance and her being atomized by Raiden Shogun. She is also related to my favorite quote in the entire game, the inscription on the Shivada Gem stone: "Sorry... to also have you shoulder the grievances of the world. "Since you could endure my bitter cold, you must have the desire to burn? "Then, burn away the old world for me" Im wondering if Columbina will be sent to try and bargain with the Pyro Archon, by maybe pulling some strings with the Shade of Death, and get Capitano some more screen time. But im worried it might cheapen his move against Ronova. Regarding Nod Krai and a new element, im wondering how its gonna go. They probably to introduce something akin to darkness, so they can introduce the Traveller's true element, which is light. But if Skirk is the first one with that element, isnt patch 5.4 a bit too early to drop something like that? Because according to that sillouette announcement, she drops on 5.4. Or maybe some info on her drops on 5.4. Anyway, the next Harbinger patch is gonna be a massive lore drop, and i can hardly wait for it. Great video, keep up the great work.

hey im still about to see the video so idk if you talk about this but i would like if you can talk of what is the secret that mavuika have, bc in the teyvat chapter dain say "when the god of war shares this secret with the traveler is because she have her reasons" but i dont see mavuika secret in the quest and aslo the red pyro stone is still with the white censored cubes unlike the fontaine one that got a descripcion after 4.2, so thats mean we dont know the secret yet? or are we going to get another quest for the 5.6 boss that maybe is columbina... i would like if you read and response this :) btw my english is still bad

I definitely enjoyedthis archin quest, from the music, the ode of resurrection is so epic, Natlan characters are lovable, you get to feel the burden of a real catastrophe, and liked how the dead characters helped you in the night Kingdom. On the negative side, I think mavuika's sacrifice could have been a little more implied, i remember it from the trailer and citlali's conversation only, like they did at the beginning of the archon quest with capitano. 9/10 limine dancing was cool

I am not sure but there is also a Big Chance that Pierro might show up to collect the Gnosis, I mean think of it this way, YES the Captain was Holding back and Colombina might be stronger that him, but the Problem is, Colombina is Probably an Angel and as a result, might also see to not Harm Humans much and since the Gnosis are so Important to the Cryo Archon's plan, she might want to ensure that the Gnosis is Hers, and Piero who was a High ranking Sorcerer in the same Kingdom as The Captain would most likely be even stronger than The Captain. and would be the most sure Fire way to get the gnosis from an Archon who matched one of your best soldiers. I mean this way you can have Colombina Playable as Colombina might be reminded of her Angel roots and after some persuasion from the Lord of the Night, we might get her on our Side, only for Pierro to show up cause he saw this possibility and he will be the one to take down Mavuika and showcase a feat of POWER that we have never seen before. Anyways, that was my rant, I hope you all have a Great year and love the video as always
