Pacific Crest offers one exactly the same as this for like $99 flat. Exactly the same. The magnetic strap anchors are ridiculous, slightest nudge and they pop open.

Have this style in a duffel: VERY solid and butch .... like traveling anywhere with it in hand or on shoulder ...the backpack, however, is too young for me

I've learned that this company (like a few others) takes this bag from China and just brands it themselves. You can get it on Aliexpress super cheap

Hi, I really enjoyed the video. Other than the sewing, I must admit that I am impressed with that pack, so I went to their web site and saw that they make the same backpack with a canvas flap, that I couldn’t see any logo on it. (No logo, one less con, right?) However, I would like to know if you know where that pack is made? It wouldn’t surprise me if it is made in China.

(Basically i only use the magnets for the small pockets and only the old fashion way on the main compartment) Someday i might sew my own inner without any annoying pockets that just get in the bloody way.

All in all i have a feeling its a lot less durable than it looks. I have two seams that are coming out and thats seperate from the exposed seams where i tore out the inner. It is NOT a premium product (largely due to the unreliable stitching). But the actual materials do feel sturdy and I find something rewarding about modifying it more to my liking so i actually dont regret my purchase. (And I am one of those people who find it quite pretty).
