Genting looks nice from above. But if you really see from near, its a slum. Way behind the nice mountain resorts of europe. Bad landscaping, not enough parking. Buildings of poor design and architecture. Haphazard layout.This is what happens when people without class and style were given the free hand to put up buildings up there. The once beautiful mountain is damaged and beyond repair.

Truth is, most mountain resorts in Europe are ski resorts and limited to those activities only, thus not as big as Genting and few of them open all year round.

Definition of slum : "a squalid and overcrowded urban street or district inhabited by very poor people". Where got slum, please get your facts right..
