Genting Highlands Day Trip | MALAYSIA | During RMCO

This is our first proper day trip since lockdown! Now that things have started to relax more with the new RMCO (Recovery Movement Control Order) 10th June until 31st August, here in Malaysia.
We took a trip to the Genting Highlands with a number of different stops. First, we visited Happy Bee Farm where they also have Butterfly Wonderland, & Insect World. Our next stop was Strawberry Leisure Farms, where we saw all of the strawberries growing (unfortunately due to covid-19 you cannot pick them at the moment), and lots of different types of flowers.
We then took a trip up into the sky on the Awana SkyWay mountain cable cars, we went in the glass bottom ones - very scary when you hate heights! At the top, we explored Sky Avenue where the theme park and casino are located, as well as Ripley's believe it or not.
Heading back down on the cable car, our final stop was the Premium Outlet Mall which Jo was very excited about, unfortunately with the tight SOP measures in place and the amazing sales, this meant very big queues :(

Genting cable car is a ok...but wait till you guys try the Langkawi Cable Car...steppest in the world...go for it ...hehehe..wish you guys all the best..staysafe..

I do hope that both of you can go back there again using the normal cable car when everything is really open because there are new additions like outdoor theme parks also. Spend the night in the largest hotel in the world there.

Hey Ian& Jo..there are many interesting places near to KL ( less than an hour drive) such as genting, port dickson, batu caves, kuala kubu baru, kuala selangor etc. You may google the activities there...

Yes, agree with James. Since Ian and Jo is staying at Bukit Jalil area, Bandar Baru Bangi and Kajang town are near by towns to be visited. Not a big town, but no harm trying and look for the other side of this Selangor state ..and satay Haji Samuri are not to be missed...

The sign should says Don't Worry BEE Happy 🤔😅. So now Genting is trying to take on Cameron on bees and strawberry farm. Good luck with that Genting. "OH MY GOODNES I LOOKED DOWN" 😅

Thanks for the video! Did you go during the weekday or weekend? I'll be traveling alone and curious to hear what you did, planning to go there in the next week. I'd still like there to be people there that I can meet, but maybe not crazy long queues.

Sorry for not replying sooner! We went there on a Saturday, so I would imagine it will be less busy during the week, we also went the second weekend after it opened so it may have been busier due to this and the great sales that were on. We hope its not too busy for you when you go :)
