Being a Malaysian who have been to Genting First World Hotel numerous times, this is the first time I get to see such clear view through hotel's window BTW fyi the place is indeed haunted for a few floors but it is inaccessible through the normal elevators or stairs as they are closed to the public. BTW It is good to knock before going in the hotel as it is a form of saying hi to "them" that you're actually stepping into "their" home.

There's no such thing.I was an employee there and never got experience like that.The place is crowded no way haunted..I stayed at Ria Apartment for 2 yrs working there and also near to skyworld..If it haunted none would go there..

Genting Skyworld also have mega coaster which is the orange track (SFX Coaster by Dynamic Attraction) this project was delayed due to financial problem and it set to be open in 2026 formerly it's going to be Aliens vs Predator theme but after Disney bought 20th fox studios some of IP franchise need to removed, this is one of the most edge coaster ever after the first at Abu Dhabi (Mission Ferrari) this is second in Malaysia

Road to Genting is considered good and wide compared to the roads heading to Cameron Highlands or Frasers Hill in which is more windy and narrow 😅

Cameron & Fraser Hill is like a long hilly windy roller coaster with twist and turn, when its turn its 90degrees to the left then to the right then to the left and its never ending.. Its pretty common for somebody walking out of the car and puke when arrived at destinations regardless of going up or going down 😂

actually you're right about the hauntedness of first world, I've been to Genting from young and thr was always this general belief that first world was one of the more haunted hotels compared to the others around Genting, especially with the corner rooms. There was also rumours that dead bodies was stored under some of the beds as temporary storage due to some financial issue of disposing it. Anyway I love that you bothered to knock the door before you entering because we would do that too (the chinese would knock 3 times), open the door (and if we feel a gust of wind, it'll mean that smt was in thr and it had just left, if thr was nth then we'll assume that the room was empty but well its all old superstitions too haha) and check the beds and cabinets to make sure that there was nth is there 😂 For the theme parks, shoes wasn't really a issue back then, we could just take them off if we were wearing slippers or slip ons

tbh i remember not knowing about the ghosts back then as a child and one night when I slept in first world hotel I woke up to a child girl voice saying that her name is daisy ( it was july and also for some reason my mom bought a minnie mouse doll there) and well I went back to sleep. now knowing that sometimes it is haunted, bro it gave me goosebumps

Actually First world hotel is not really famous for being haunted. The famous haunted place in Genting is the Amber Count apartment, this is the place where many KZbinrs or paranormal Tv program will explore. Back to First world hotel, the hotel is super packed with people especially during the weekend, less likely to be haunted. The supernatural story about this hotel is somewhere from the first few floors, no lift would reach there. These are the places where the hotel will worship and feed the children's ghosts. Children ghosts in Asian cultures are the spirits that are worshipped so they would work for you. As for casinos, they kept these little ghosts so the customers will keep losing in the gambling. The local belief says that when you gamble in Genting, remember to bring some sweets and throw them on the floor so the little ghosts will be distracted and you might have the chance to win. One thing for real is that these Genting hotels had lots of suicide cases, and you know why, since this is the only casino in Malaysia where people lost all their money. 3 or 4 years ago, my father was in the first world hotel, and he heard a girl crying outside next to his room window. He thought it was a ghost, but still, out of curiosity he opened the window and saw a young lady sitting at the edge of the window about to jump off. He called the hotel staff and security guard, they went into that room and grabbed the girl, so confirmed she was a human, luckily they saved her.

😂😇love how 'spirit'ually aware Hocking is (froyo fan too!); I remember the heebie jeebies we got as kids when our parents buggered off to the casino and left us up in the room with a bunch of snacks. Every howl of wind, every creak of the building would make our hairs stand up. Luckily there was a free theatre downstairs and arcades in the lobby. More importantly, there was the company of LIVING people.

I stayed there many times, there are lots of people, especially during the weekend. Nothing spooky. But it's a three-star hotel, the service they provide is merely an accommodation and they serve thousands of people a day, so don't expect anything luxurious there. The good side is, all the indoor entertainment, restaurants, and the shopping mall in Genting are located inside the First world hotel so it's convenient.

The hotel look old on the outside and nice on the inside, because it's an old hotel and one of the largest hotel in the world at that time. People do commit suicide there because they lost their life savings in the casinos. So at times you can see old abandoned vehicles parked there. There's a lot of supposedly "haunted" places in Malaysia, Karak Highway, Mona Fendy's mansion, Duta Vista resort etc, but pay no heed to those rumours, its just an urban legend. Malaysian people simply loves ghost stories, but they're all fictional nonetheless.

The Skyworlds Theme Park was originally built for the 21st Century Theme Park... but was canceled after FOX took over the 21st Century Company... that's why there's snow like the Ice Age movie.. Resort World is also the owner of Universal Studios in Singapore...
