I work as a nurse at a senior care home, and a couple months back I introduced Maria’s videos to a few of my residents who have insomnia and anxiety. They were skeptical at first but now they absolutely love it and are actually sleeping better too! We let them watch it on the facility’s tablets. It’s been a huge help to them, especially now when they have to be isolated for their own safety. I can tell this one will be a hit with them. Thank you Maria!

I love so many things about this video-the soft pink aesthetics, the camera tilting, the relaxing energy-but my favorite is that Ms. Maria never gives a reason for anything she's doing. Sometimes ASMRtists create ironically stressful scenarios in order to relax (imagine you're at the dentist, imagine you're sick, imagine you're preparing for surgery), but I like this so much better. Ms. Maria could just focus on relaxation and using the triggers she wanted. "I want to feel the textures of your face" is so much better than "let me see your zits/if you have an ear infection," etc. I hope more ASMRtists take this route.

It’s super weird. I’m going through a traumatic time, losing my former fiancé (we split up before his death, but I still love him dearly and his death has devastated me) and my family has no idea how to support me. They gave me cheap comments like “well, it’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all” and then they carried on with their lives. They knew him, they knew how happy I was and how much I loved him and knew the struggle I was going through when my relationship began to end. My friends abandoned me. The only one who cares is my mom but even then, she is dealing with her own breakup and sits there crying so I try to support her. I mostly cry in my apartment alone and my cat is the only one who sits with me. My family has no idea how to support me or care for me or listen to me. The tenderness in ASMR, especially the maternal nature of Maria, is so dearly needed that it’s almost overwhelming. Thank you Maria for everything and taking care of me during this hard time. Happy holidays and Winter Solstice ❤️❄️🎄

Your kindness and empathy just radiates through your eyes Maria. I don’t know how to do it, but thank God you do, as it helps SO many people. You are a gift, an angel and the world is a better place for you being in it. Thank you 🙏🏼 ❤️

Maria, I work in a hospice; did you know that people that are dying watch you to ease their passage? I have witnessed times when your face is the last thing they see....and they are relaxed and smiling. True.

I love your hand movements because you make them so personal. Iv noticed others dont get so close to the camera, theyre too fast, they dont engage as much on a personal level with hand movements. You make me feel like im actually infront of you and i LOVE IT😍

I adore you Maria. I have been a long time fan, possibly coming up 9-10yrs. I remember when you didn’t even live in the States yet, and you went to the US for an Xmas holiday. You were the first ASMRtist I ever watched, the first stuff I was just unintentional ASMR. You haven’t changed at all, you are as stunning and as fresh faced as you were 10yrs ago. You’re as caring and as soft. Just want to let you know how much I appreciate you, and how many nights you have helped me to regulate my anxiety or get some much needed sleep. Thank you!

Tilting the camera when touching is so underused, yet it's such a powerful trigger for maximum immersion. For me, this is really a sign for highest professionalism - looking for ways to improve instead of just doing the same things everyone else does or just established "new" things. This makes me so happy!

Thanks for all you do! One of my favourite “real life” ASMR experiences is going to a clothing store and hearing the cashier’s fingernails on the counter as they fold the clothes I bought and place them in the bag. Your folding videos are some of my favourites and I think a role play using the folding (and fingernails!) would be heavenly. I have two toddlers and a newborn and I always try to sneak in one of your videos any time I have a few minutes to myself. ❤️❤️❤️ P.S. The camera movements are fantastic! Feels so real!
