GREAT VERSION!!! John Harford wrote the track in 1967 and won two Grammy's with it. Glen Campbell's 1968 version, probably the most popular also won 2 Grammy's and was used as the theme song for Glenn's TV Variety show. Aretha Franklin, Dean Martin, and Patti Page also recorded the track, probably all before anyone in The Band Perry was born. Glen's daughter Ashley also does a cover of it as well.
