There will never be an entertainer as good as Dean Martin. He did it all! Movies, television, songs, nightclubs, radio. He did it all! There will never be anyone like him. And his personal life was personal. When he wasn't working, he was spending time with his kids or golfing, he was relaxing with a drink and watching a movie on tv. There will never be an entertainer like him. And did you know he took his kids to see and meet Elvis Presley. One of his kids called Elvis the King, in which Elvis responded: No I'm not. Your dad is the King. Another fact which a lot of people don't know is that son Ricci made a comment at dinner that that the Beatles were number 1 on the radio, which Dean responded by saying something like: I could be number 1 and he did when he recorded Everybody Loves Somebody and knocked the Beatles out of the number 1 spot in 1964. If you don't believe me check out the top 100 songs of 1964. Dean Martin will never be forgotten. Go to IMDB and check out how many movies featured Dean's songs. You won't believe how many songs are used in movies to this day. It's incredible...then again, so is Dean!

Gentle MAN !!! Where have all the men of this kind gone!?! Real men with deep, distinctive voices, charism, character faces, personality, elegant sex appeal !! And no milk faces who can't sing, can't move, unmanly, pure plastic, sissies, show biz industry puppets, with little to no talent, no radiance, no looks, but gigantic egos. Dino kills them all. The song is great, everything you said about the man is true.And dont get me wrong, but things change, people change. They Evolve. If you refuse to do so or refuse to keep an open mind everything around you will eat you up inside. There are plenty of talented artists of this time, they just arent glorified or praised like they deserve to be. This is because there is much more offered today than lets say the 40's, 50's, or 60's. And it isnt about the music as much as the money today vs the opposite of the yester-years.

Helen Reidt By all accounts offstage Dean was a very quiet, introspective man who, apart from his beloved golf also loved to watch cowboy films, and I often think that if he had been born 100 years earlier he would perhaps have been a cowboy in real life. I feel he would have enjoyed the solitary life that cowboys led much of the time, and that it would have suited his reclusive side very well.

This song was chosen today- 06/01/2021 in memory of Alan Horace Hugh Haylock (1943-2020). A kind, loving and gentle father and partner of Catherine Pearl McNamara (1949-2020), a wonderful and caring mother and partner, who also introduced her son Alan to Dean Martin. Both died within a month of each other and will greatly missed by their sons Paul and Alan. We love you forever. Goodbye, Old Bean.
