I was feeling like ending my life this morning, as my Tinitus was maddening. Then I decided to look up white noise, which in turn took me to this. Quite literally a life saver. So thank you! It really does mask the horrible noise in my head. Normally I hear a factory accompanied by a loud roaring in my right ear. Sure is much nicer to listen to rain. Also we have long winters in Michigan. So hearing the mild thunder is very therapeutic on many levels!

Elliott Evans In fact it does not, unless you are using an ancient browser that doesn't support MPEG-DASH. Right click video -> Stats for nerds. Note the DASH: yes (xxx/251) part. Left of the forward slash is the video format, right side is the audio format. Anywhere from 240p up to 4k uses audio format 251, which in this case means it's using a 160k Opus audio stream. tl;dr, uploading sound in 4k is a rediculous waste.
