I wish I could. I have a digital distribution contract that is no longer allowing me to release tutorials. I've been trying to do so for the past few years, and kept on getting denied, without getting any real information as to why. Just found out a few months ago what was going on. There is some good news though. I realize it's a little different, but I have figured out a way to sidestep this issue, and release material on Spotify, and you can listen to it, or use it, without a subscription. Hi Jeff, I have a question for you. I’m a baritenor/tenor relatively new to singing. I made it into my university’s auditioned choir, yay! However, I am really struggling with singing in the choir. In the back of my mind I still have doubts on whether I can even sing and overall just feel very tense and shy about singing in the choir. I am singing tenor and find myself singing very soft and lightly, especially on pretty much everything above a C4. When I’m practicing I feel more confident and can sing with a much fuller and louder sound, but have trouble tapping into my full potential when singing in the choir. I am terrified of sounding badly and singing out of tune, especially since the choir is so good. Any tips? I would really appreciate some guidance. Thank you!

I'd suggest two approaches. One, give it some time. If being in a choir is a new experience, it will take a little getting used to. Two, vocalize everyday and be very prepared for rehearsal. Rehearsals are not the times to learn your parts, they are when you put all the music together. Be one of the choir members that already knows your parts before you get there.
