There is so much known of Anne Lister and her determination and strength. I cannot help but feel sad for Ann Walker - a fragile young woman who really was never allowed to be herself except with Anne. How was the ending for her after Anne Lister died in Georgia? What her ending? I hope they found each other again in the afterlife.

they're both spectacular actresses...aren't they?! I'm sure they've developed a real hot crush on each other off-screen!...How could they avoid it...reeeeally? I'm a hound for the kissing ...I watch every detail of their expressions especially where Sally has admitted in interviews that certain scenes kissing was not in the script! Like the last mountaintop scene....GREAT kissing and if you really watch it's Sophie that slightly moves toward Suranne (I now spell it SIR-Anne) to signal "we're going in for the mouth, Babe!" And it's not 1 kiss or 2! They just keep enjoying locking into each other! Lovely, lovely and soooo loving! @t

Hi Michael... the scene you're looking for is in Episode 3 in the last 5 minutes. The lead up... they are together in a room with the blinds closed, and Ann Walkers aunt walks in on them. When her aunt leaves, Ann Walker suggests to Anne Lister 'should we go upstairs'
