Mother's, teach your daughters not to accept anything less. My adult daughters went through the " cool guy" faze...it didn't take long for their minds to be made up, and even my Granddaughters won't accept a young man who doesn't come to the door, open doors for them, etc., It's all in what they're willing to accept from a man.

What’s bad, is, my hubby started out being a gentleman, but over the years, that faded away. Won’t open a door for me, won’t help me do yard work, etc. and I’m on my own to do most things. He leaves me alone to go hang out with friends till all hours of the night. He’s lost all consideration for me and compassion. I’m tough, I have to be. I’m also in my third fight with cancer, but that hasn’t changed his attitude. from a gentleman to a lazy man. 😢

My Beloved Dad was a old fashioned gentleman who instilled so much goodness into his 3 girls. I'm 61 now and sadly he passed away when I was only 17 but I still carry on the kindness he showed me all those years ago. Manners and kindness never go out of style. I Love You Daddy 💝❤💝

I just had that conversation with a friend. Since my sons were 10 years old, I've never opened a door again. Now they open doors, carry things and it is still a great thing!! Oh! Rory is a breath of fresh air in a fallen world. Old fashioned values that should never have gone out of style! Reminds me of a bit of Paul Over street one of the few country musicians shining a light in such a dark world! And through the pain of losing a beautiful wife inside and out that could sing like an angel, at least that's how she appears to me I certainly didn't know her, but it seemed like her Godly spirit showed through in everything she did. Such a great song! It reminds me of my granddad. My 2 sisters and I always wanted to marry a man just like Granddad, because he was a gentle man. Never a harsh word. He called us "sugar" and if any of us kids tried to lie about anything he would ask if we were "telling stories." Very refreshing to see real people in a music video. People I'd see at church or on my street. My husband and I really enjoyed the barn concert last night too, in Royal City, WA. I'm not going to lie, I did not enjoy the chairs, but the music and stories and all the people in the audience were awesome! Dale (sound guy) is my former Program Director. So glad you sang "Leave it There" as I had thought it was a brand new song several years ago when I first heard it. Rory watching your interview with Christa yesterday really inspired me. God has called me to start homesteading last year. The first call that I got from God was Tractor Supply was the first call that He has put on my heart. Then Homesteading was the second call to take in foster children who are aging out of the system to give them a forever home.
