Hi Christina, Thank you for doing this story on papa Rory. I just saw it on you tube. I thank God that Mr. Rory opened this one room school house and they do the pledge of allegiance and pray. One woman was allowed to take prayer out of schools here in America and look what is happening all across America in these in schools. Daddy went to a one room school for the time he went to school. He went to school with him brothers when he was 4 or 5 years old because his Mother wasn't there and his Daddy had to farm to make a living for the family. Daddy quit school in the 6th grade to help grandpa on the farm. But he never stopped learning. The things he learned by doing hands on things on the farm if something broke the fixed it didn't have the money to go out and pay someone to do it. He taught me to do the same thing. Hands on is some of the best teaching there is. Really enjoyed hearing about your school. God bless you'll. Dan

I am a profesional nanny, I’ve been teaching children at home school setting, one of my application in teaching have been in nature, exposing the child to nature applying all 6 senses into learning have been the most memorable and accomplished years in my life & their lives experience like no other, I admire your ideas to teach in a family community setting to best benefit the children in a unique environment, one they will never forget and more importantly, one that will shape their lives in a very deep relationship with the creator and with each other like families should be!
