Worst thing I can say about this fight is that I miss Gentleman's exaggerated movements, but otherwise, this was a fun one to watch.

This was honestly so good. Gentleman's strategy improved masively with these new cards. Also Checkmate kinda fixes Mystic King for me, but he is still a tower that if it falls you go down with it.

Haha Shion/Gentleman finally won a battle and these new Spells will help the Chess Deck good for the mobile game aswell. I'm also happy we seem te be getting full battles and that every member of Seventh Flame gets to shine.

Hello. I started Shadowverse like 4 days ago. And I have one thing to say : Chess is ABSOLUTELY BROKEN irl. I also play Portalcraft Puppet, but really, Chess is an incredible Deck in term of card advantage. It's nice to finally see Shion win a Duel since her Deck look strong but didn't won any single match before this one so... 😀

Chess Rune is objectively stronger in CCG. Easier to summon King, King buffed, Knight is way stronger, etc.

Like I think the anime would’ve at least mentioned by now if she did have one. I have no reason to think she does, because it’s never been mentioned or shown.

I guess Mystic King Last Word already kinda does this, so there probably was no need to do that...although 15 damages could easily be considered as an auto-win by itself.
