Yes, it’s technically a “Fusion *Summon*”, Shadowverse actually has a mechanic just called “Fusion”. Basically, one card in your hand gets stronger by absorbing other specific cards in your hand.

My one gripe with the result was that hiro betting his dad didn't accomplish anything because right after hiro wins, spoiler: his dad is still trying to destroy the world for his wife's freedom and all the characters get sucked into another dimension or something. So I feel like I would have been fine to let hiro loss their in my opinion .

Same I’d like Mimori’s Ace Brilliant Fairy that would give such a leg up to Fairy Decks. I mean the Shadowverse mobile recently did a crossover with the anime, and Dark Emperor/Ignis Dragon sleeves are now in. It would be silly to not at least bring their aces into the games eventually. Heck even various games & anime already have their own cards in Shadowverse so it would be incredibly dumb never to bring the anime exclusive ace cards to the actual game.

Dragonic Fervor restores 3 of your defense and lets you draw 2 cards. They just never showed him gaining defense during this fight using that card.

Shadowverse Flame is a much watch if you like Shadowverse. The 1st season is meh but Flame does a good job with character development, unique decks and more! Season 2 of Flame comes out soon too

Not going to lie, I expected Hiro to lose this fight. it's a little sad that we have Unbeatable Protagonist. I mean, Vrains at least had good story and A LOT OF well-written characters. Shadowverse has, like, 2 well-written characters? Maybe 3, IDK. As for final scene of season... Now this is interesting. I am expecting much more in terms of story writing in next season.

Listen, shadowverse's 3rd season is just a poor man's version of vanguard link joker's arc. While there are some similarities between the 2, shadowverse falls flat with how it treated the main threat, the shadows. The shadows just corrupt people and have them use shadow cards without using that deck's main foucs, while the reverse units from vanguard has skills that uses the clan's main focus while locking your cards. Listen, if you like the 3rd season of shadowverse, more power to ya. But, the link joker arc wins hands down.
