I've been progressively losing my hearing over the past few years (70% hearing loss in right ear and 90% in left) and I'm expected to have full hearing loss in less than 2 years but I still love Maria's videos. It may sound like I have cotton shoved in my ears and I'm 10 feet underwater, but she still manages to give me tingles. And these hand movement videos are perfect.

I guess I prefer what would now be considered "old school" ASMR. It seems like the new people popping up are using fast jerky movements which is, in my opinion, the very opposite of relaxing. You are the reigning queen of ASMR.

I don’t know why but i would greatly benefit by being reminded to breathe in every session this helps start the relaxation process for me. I only get tingles anymore when you move behind me and whisper. That was so good today! I love soft gentle hand movements so much, thats why i enjoy reiki sessions. Concentrating on a different chakra is very relaxing too. I love your hand movements. I discovered another thing I enjoy, following a small flashlight in a semi dark room. I will follow the light with my eyes and feel very sleepy. Pulling the stings of negative energy and snipping them scissors its so relaxing and the visual i helps me to truly let them go. i think everyone needs to do that after a hard week. deep breath in, long breath out.

The “grabbing, pulling, and combing it through.” Along with the hand movement will always be the most relaxing thing for me. Also the “clip clip clip” and the “chop chop chop” idk what it is about these specific moments in the video, but they make me feel so relaxed. No anxiety. Tingles like crazy! One time, I was on a bus coming back from a field trip and we were allowed to have our phones. So I wanted to watch some asmr but forgot my headphones. So I clicked on this video and turned off my volume so no one could hear, and I still got the same amount of tingles! That's when I figured out I liked visual asmr better! The following information may be of some assistance in the creation of your videos: Turn off auto focus and zoom focus on the iris of your eye then pull back focus to set your shot. Turn off auto iris. This will prevent the shifting in brightness when you get close to the camera. hope this helps!
