I believe the Hollister refered to in the video is Hollister Wave Crush (blue bottle and box). Side by side to Sauvage EDT, it is closer than most but Dior is obviously "more everything"

I own both Layton and Detour Noir. Layton has slightly more vanilla in the base and florals in the mid, but for that general Layton vibe, Detour Noir is insane value for money. I'll never buy another bottle of Layton that's for sure. If anything once my Layton bottle is emptied I'm going to want to fill it with juice from my Detour Noir bottle just because the Detour Noir bottle is just so awful. Edit 11 hours after posting: So I decided to have another Layton wearing after leaving this comment. I wore it all day and it was lovely. This evening I put Detour Noir on my other arm, and it isn't exactly the same. It's sharper, not as rich, but it basically takes that sweet sparkly opening that the original has and goes with it. You could almost consider it a spring-time version of Layton because of the fact it's less vanilla heavy and more focused on the fruity floral vibe. If you like that part of Layton then go for it, but it doesn't smell as expensive as the OG. I prefer Detour Noir when I haven't recently worn Layton as it makes me think of it, without me directly comparing it where I find myself gravitating towards the original a lot more. Also Detour Noir doesn't last anywhere near as long for me. Layton (I have a pre-reformulation bottle) just lasts way longer.

The bottle is terrible. But with Detour Noir, I've read it has a bit more of that menthol/mint vibe that they toned down since the reformulation. Have you noticed anything? It really is a garbage presentation but I do enjoy Detour Noir quite a bit otherwise. Might have to get a decant at some point

I blind bought Tobacco Touch and wasn’t a big fan. A couple of weeks later I was able to test Tobacco Vanille and was blown away by how similar they are. Again, not a big fan but a perfect dupe.

7:21 as an Elixir enjoyer, I’ll be giving this a shot. I’m down to a third a bottle. Plus if I wear the clone I won’t have to feel as basic for wearing a Sauvage since the edt and etp are running rampant. Plus that black and gold bottle is pretty cool.

Lattafa Ameer Al Oudh is a clone of Replica by the Fireplace. But smells even better, better performance and much more sillage. And its cheap. Has been my most worn Winterscent this year. I love it.

A seldom talked about clone is Shaghaf Oud. It's a clone of Oud Bouquet by Lancome. It's amazing. Even better than the original in terms of thickness and longevity.

I LOVE LATAFFA!!! Oud For Glory is my favorite. I LOVE Initios Oud For Greatness but just can't afford it. Oud For Glory is so close that I don't have to break the bank to have that beautiful dark spicy aroma. I get so many compliments on this fragrance. You just can't go wrong with LATAFFA OUD FOR GLORY if you like Oud For Greatness but just can't afford it. You will be very very pleased.

Controversial opinion: Khamrah smells better than Angel's Share!! That Killian drydown gives out a weird smell on my skin, I don't know what it is, but I hate it. Opening is alright, but Khamrah is better overall in my opinion

Extra controversial opinion: Khamrah is NOT a clone of Angels Share - it’s mildly inspired by it 😮 My personal favorite alternative is Kismet Angel by Maison Alhambra; but that’s the beauty of fragrance - everyone’s nose and tastes are different 😁

My two favorite clones so far are Amber Oud Exclusife Bleu and Maison Alhambra Amber and Leather. I have PDM Layton and immediately recognized it. Great quality. The Amber and Leather smells fantastic to me. I have never smelled the Tom Ford but now I’m extremely satisfied with Amber and Leather.

Milestone is def amazing, absolutely love the melon note but I wonder how that will fare over time, one of the few I've gotten several compliments on. Asad is pretty great, feel it's a bit more wearable than the original but definitely less longevity, though I can't complain for the price. Oud for Glory I'm interested how it will develop after more maceration, only a few months atm since I bought it and doesn't feel like it's melded as much but then again CDN Sillage took a while as did CDNIM edt. Detour Noir also great despite the janky bottle lol

Asad smells a lot like an old school spicy man's scent with a modern gourmand caramel twist. There is a prominent nutmeg note that I'm not a fan of and it doesn't fade, but I decided to give it a few tries and see if my opinion changes. Then someone at work said I smelt like a curry shop and everyone bust out laughing so they must have been thinking something similar. That was the final nail in the coffin.

I can't decide if I want to buy Lataffa Khamrah or Club de Nuit Intense Man Parfum. They are both great, both get alot of compliments, both have very impressive projection and longetivity, but I can't decide which is more worth it. I know they are very different from one another, but can someone tell me which of them is overall better? Like price-quality range, I pay a buck more on this one, but it has better performance, this one smells better but it's a bit synthetic or headachey.

Be careful on the Amber Oud. Amber Oud Rouge is BR540, Amber Oud Ruby Edition is BR540 Extrait (with the almond note) Amber Oud Bleu is BDC, Amber Oud Bleu Exclusif is Layton-ish Kismet Angel is a closer clone, but Khamrah is a better fragrance -- like a "better than" Angels' Share. Armaf Craze is better than Pegasus to me, the almond note sticks better on my skin, almost like Initio High Frequency. Star Man Nebula and Hercules are also both fantastic.

La Yuqawam is the only clone fragrance I particularly care for. And yeah, I remember when $70 was a steal, as I usually saw it for around $90 on fragrancenet. I hates the smell at first, but every time I smelled it afterwards, I loved it more and more - plus the packaging is gorgeous (even bought the Jasmine Wisp flanker for my wife and now we have a cute little matching set haha)

Khamrah is different from angels share. Its more feminine and sweet while As has a bit more spice. Both are great and their own fragrances.

I ordered RAMZ Silver by Lattafa. Clone of Ultra Male and it’s actually better. If you compare a lot of the clones you can get, you’re actually getting better value. Packaging much better and fragrance very close , sometimes indistinguishable. You pay for “ designer “ brands because of their marketing, stores etc. Clone brands don’t bother with any of that.

I am using Lattafa Asad and Lattafa Oud for Glory. Not even close to Dior Elixer and Initio oud for greatness respectively. Oud of glory is for oud lovers and long lasting.

UK comment: Lidl sell a Bleu de Chanel clone, it's called Bellini Deep and lasts 8+ hours on my skin. Smells like a mix of EDP and EDT. £5.50 for 75ml. The originals don't last longer than 4 hours on my skin

Don't know what it is, but I love the aesthetics of the Asad bottle (sans the plastic gold girdle, which fortunately is not glued on). Agree with Watch and Spray, I was so impressed with Amber Oud Rouge I stopped looking for a deal on Baccarat Rouge (original or extrait). I've read a lot of people stating that it was recently reformulated for the much worse, so new bottles may not be as close.
