I don’t think you can go wrong with gifting Dior Sauvage or Blue De Chanel to anybody. Blue De Chanel if I had to pick. I’ve long outgrown both, but for the average non fragrance lover both are out of this world. I loved the stuff when I first got in to fragrances.

@@lawrences.6298 I have moved on to LV Ombré Nomade and some niche houses like Xerjoff. Absolutely nothing wrong with Sauvage and BDC, still wear them from time to time as a dumb reach.

I have all of those fragrances, and the only one I ever really reach for is Bleu de Chanel EdP. It really works for any occasion, and is always classy. I like all of these, and agree that all of these are great gifts for a person just getting started on fragrances, except that Angels' Share is too expensive and too niche to give to a guy who's just getting started in fragrances, and quite honestly, Versace Homme and Dylan Blue are ok, but not great.

Missoni Wave > Versace pour homme. Smells similar, but with similarities to allure homme sport, which is better imo. Magnetic cap and atomizer are also way better.

Poor guy was talking about Dior Homme 2020 hahha i agree with him 2020 is such a great fragrance, it's kinda underrated imo. I consider it the quintessencial masculine fragrance. But Dior Homme Intense is undoubtedly a beautiful and unique fragrance. might not be the best blind gift for everybody tho, especially for a fragrance newbie

Hey Gents Scents, could you do a video on non irritating notes (or notes that can be irritating)? I have a sensitive nose/eyes. I'm finding fresh scents irritating. For reference, Nautical Voyage, F Le Parfum, Ab&f First Instinct Blue, and to an extent YSL La Nuit are too much. BDC Parfum is tolerable. Hercules by Maison Alhambra is touch annoying but then goes fine, it's probably the best one of the bunch. I have a 2019 batch of CDMIM, lemon was fine when I first got but now it went bad or something. The smoky notes are fine. Thinking of getting a smoky aventus clone but not sure. I'm having a tough time knowing what to look out for. Perhaps I have to go to darker scents. Hercules is the first tobacco scent and it's the least troubling so far. But it's possible the cinnamon is net negative irritation wise.
