That's a decision you have to make personally, even if the clones are close they are still missing some from the original more times than not, try for yourself then decide

If you're strictly about scent it won't make sense. If your pocket could afford a designer and want to treat yourself with something expensive, why not? Go for it. It's all up to you. I most have clone fragrances, but there are some designers I just desire to have.

Chasing the best clone, meaning you have 3-4 of a scent profile, perhaps purchasing the original might have be the better option especially with designers. If not you'll go down the Angles Share rabbit 🕳️ of disappointment... I have Moustache, Kismet, and am satisfied with The Tux, it is amazing! Try the original if you can't live without it, buy it. I clone things that are discontinued, hard to obtain, for gifting, or ridiculously marked at a price I refuse to pay. In that order.

Cacharel pour l'homme, which was only produced between 1981-1989 best of the best ... 90s production Cacharel or any similiar perfume has ever come close to it. If Gerard Goupy is still alive, he should make first formula again. I have never found that scent again, which made women put their noses close to my neck to smell my perfume on the street. And I have never seen such a beautiful scent.

French Avenue Azzure Aoud is equal to Liquid Brun in quality and compliment factor too. Love Harmony Code, Vintage Radio, and It's Essential...really done well.

SWY intensely does in no way compare to LM elixir. First one has the chestnut note that makes it a gourmand. LM elixir is a vanilla sweet bomb, and as far as I’m concerned largely overhyped. LM le parfum 10x better.

Ash hasn’t “pushed” anything. He still criticizes what clone houses do. A scent isn’t illegal to copy, however, when clone houses go as far as stealing bottle designs. Ash will call them out on their bs. It’s always been his style. He also reminds his fan base every now and then to support brands they love. “If you have the money for it, buy from the actual brand”. If you love something, support it, simple as that.
