For anybody thinking about aftermarket uppers, please don’t cheap out. I’ve used SPC UCA’s on a first gen tundra and a second gen Tacoma. They use very stout adjustable ball joints. IMO, they are the best.

I got the same pro tune uca for my Fj cruiser I just changed out all the hardware and bushings with dirt king hardware/uniball works like a dream. And I know what you mean by sketch feeling when driving with protune uca. I had my protune spindle bolt snap in half while driving about almost wrecked my Fj. That’s when I decided to change its hardware & bushings to dirt king.

Nice video! I am thinking about replacing the upper and lower ball joints myself. On another note, where did you get your rotors with the drilled holes. Mine are always warping. Thanks again.

I recently bought A01 tundra, I want to lift the front about four inches. So do I need to buy the Loveling kip with the two inch spacer?
@damonmattheus59815 жыл бұрын
Dude, if you have a sway bar in the front you will need to get a relocation kit for the front sway bar. It moves the sway bar forward 1 inch so coil doesn’t hit coil. Or........... take off lift and go back to stock!

Looks like a lot of work Nathan. Hope it works out with the 2" lift.

Did that ball joint kit come with the Asian/Toyota size collars? Most do not and you have to order the Toyota/Honda adapter separate.

Any alignment issues, or any issues? And are you still using stock uca? With the 2 inch

A local man is hospitalized after abruptly veering off a remote highway and into a large oak tree. Troopers first on the scene were impressed that the older Toyota Sequoia jumped guard rails and several dozen yards of tall brush with clearance to spare before nearly splitting a young oak in two. Fortunately Toyota's renowned structural integrity and multiple air bags saved the life of the driver, whom at this point has been identified only as "That MRE guy who keeps ***** up the rations". He's reported to have suffered a minor concussion and is expected to make a full recovery once he stops muttering about killing someone named Kenny.

Yes , as I am out of it I kept yelling "pay attention dumbass" and muttering something about trolls and their moms basement lol

Hopefully, there has been a return to stock stability and handling, ensuring you'll be around to upset ration fans well into the future.

I am new to jacking up a vehicle, and installed 2" wheel spacers with stock tires. I have some rubbing going on. I was cosidering a 3" lift. I'm okay with a 2" if it gives me the clearance I need. I figured better to play it safe. I have stock control arms. If I understand you correctly...are you saying that a 3" lift will cause potential rubbing? I'm trying to avoid that. One of the comments mentioned a sway bar relocation kit. Any advice would be appreciated. I have an 05 tundra. Thanks

Hey Nathan, I was wondering. Ive got a 2001 tundra and I'm wanting to do the Old man emu 2.5" lift kit and add the 1inch diff drop kit. I am probably gonna need wheel spacers as well. What do you think?

What year Tacome's are best to buy and are there any 4x4's that are possible to be had for less than $4000. I do know to stay away from the 3.0l, but thats all.

The 5vzfe 3.4 v6 is arguably one of the best non performance engines toyota ever built. Came in the 95-04 tacoma 3rd gen 4 runner & the Toyota T100 truck check out the 300k-400k mile 5vzfe club online

5 lugs are strictly 2wd 6 lugs can have the pre runner option 2x4 or they come 4x4 as well but here in south central Tx 1st gens sell upwards of 6-10 all day with high mileage but solid frames

Project looks good, glad I haven't had time to get to it yet.. Going to wait to see this goes. Also, what front brake rotors do you have on? I couldn't find anything in your store....? Thanks!

I am working on a ebay affiliate store , since most of these parts are bought off ebay, the 2in spacers and oem upper control arms is the way to go, about 200 miles on it so far and drives like a new one
@mikef22704 жыл бұрын
Total shocker a set of UCA's that cost 300 bucks for a pair weren't up to snuff. Then to say it's the same thing used by Total Chaos... uhh not quite. There's a reason TC, ICON and other reputable companies components cost more $. You get what you pay for. Buy the best and buy it once it's cheaper in the long run.
