N.O. was released September 10, 2013. The song was actually written by Supreme Boi , Suga, RM, Hitman Bang PD, and PDogg . I love revisiting their early songs and MVs. They are so hard and raw and baby Bad A__. Haha. It has been such a fun and awesome experience watching them over the years. I can't wait to see what they bring into 2025!!!

@jenX Tunes, I found BTS on KZbin 2913 their debut so yes the over the years transformation is very nostalgic for me!😊 JungKook was 15 , V was 17, JiMin was 17, RM was 18 , J-Hope was 19 , Suga was 20, Jin was 20 ! Jin was the only one who had a drivers license at that time Lol. Jin use to drive Jungkook to school and pack his lunches😊 Jimin was a buff baby back then ,he was known for giving us fans heart attacks!🤣 Thanks for going down BTS memory lane please do some more earlier songs.🙏🏼💜

N.O is an abbreviation of “No Offense “ the school system for South Korean students very harsh long hours and 8am to 4pm for regular school , then the have to go to cram school 4pm to sometimes 1 am and they do it the next day all over again! RM was talking about Seoul to the S.K.Y Seoul National, Korea and Yonsei which is the 3 most top prestigious Universities that everyone trys to get into . Today is V’s Birthday December 30th 29 ! Well , I don’t know if you upload this today? Happy Birthday to our sweet Taehyung 💜🎉🫰🏼🎁💐

Y’all were talking about baby Jimin. JK was literally on 15 years old. Jimin was 17, but to me he looked younger than JK here. 😊 I’m 69 and I love both their early songs, the newer ones and all in between.

Thank you. I enjoyed the trip down memory lane. And you are right they still bring these kinds of themes in today it's just that a lot of US fans only saw Dynamite, Butter, Boy With Luv, etc. But RM & Suga especially were originally from the underground rap scene. They taught JHope to Rap. Those 3 would be the main writers for many years. RM especially loves to write about social issues. Suga is more about personal demons and struggles. Hobi is a blend, but all 3 have their own styles. None of the vocal line had any prior writing experience but began helping the others with parts, and now they all can write.. And of courses Bang Si Hyuk, PDogg, Supreme Boi all also wrote. It was like a cottage industry where everyone could have input. It wasn't just about not being able to afford writers. He gets a lot of unfair criticism IMHO but it was always important to then PD Bang for his artists to write most of their music. His first love is songwriting and producing... and despite the growth of Hybe, he still contributes to the music of a lot of their groups. You can see from the solo projects of RM, Suga/Agust D/, and JHope that edge is still there. They've always had artistic input, but with their new contracts... signed before enlistment... they have full artistic control. They have Big Hit to help them... but they make their own decisions on everything from the music to the kinds of promotions they do. When BSH took the main company public and named it Hybe... he kept BTS' label private as BigHit. BTS was given shares of Hybe and are the 5th largest shareholders... with more stock than all the other sub-label CEOs combined. Hybe quietly takes the blame for a lot of things that were actually the decisions of the members. For instance, RM doing the small concert at Rolling Hall instead of a stadium concert was taken by some ARMYs as RM not being given as much support from Hybe. But that was always HIS dream to perform at Rolling Hall. He's always going to be less commercial in hisvsolo work than say JK because that is who he is. I may be wrong... but from what RM has said over the hiatus... I don't think we will see a full return to the Butter Era of BTS. RM was not that happy with that direction. They will evolve once again. Oh, I'm sure we will still get some great ballads and SOME pop... but be prepared for a shift that is more likely to be closer to these older ones than to Butter and Dynamite.

Thanks for all the info! I love that they are shaping their own destinies and not bowing to corporate demands. While I love Butter and the other all English songs, I prefer works like Fake Love and Black Swan. I can't wait to see what happens in "Chapter Two" of their careers. Whatever it is, I know it will be amazing!💜💜💜

“No More Dream” and “We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2” were the title tracks for their first album (“2 Cool 4 Skool”), released on June 12, 2023 - the day before their official debut date. “N.O” was the title track for their second album (“ORUL8,2?,”), released 3 months later, on September 11, 2013. Hi ladies, being an Army-mom of 50+ myself, I can really appreciate your video's. I've been dragged into the rabbithole by my daughter about 5 years ago.
