Great review. Just found your channel, and subscribed! I first heard about this fragrance from Wafts from the Loft. Blind bought it, and loved it. This stuff is NUCLEAR STRENGTH. It's absolutely ridiculous. I have to spray it near my belly button otherwise I'm going to gas myself out.

Brilliant stuff Matt. Isn't Atkinson's wonderful? I love their Oddfellows Bouquet and English Lavender. Ther other perfumeries in Burlington are Kiliann, Frederic Malle, Chanel. Not sure of any others apart from the ones that you mentioned.

Super late to comment, but I have T&H 1805. It smells like a more refined Acqua Di Gio. A nice aquatic, warm-weather fragrance.

Well I bough Geo F Trumper shaving cream Sandalwood very Disappointed...doesn’t even smell like sandalwood $50 in trash can... As per this cologne ohh it’s tough one spend money not get what you want.. Sorry I have to give TOBS thumbs up 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Well, the question is, what exactly does Sandalwood smell like anyway? Some time ago I had a sandalwood soap I liked, one I went back and bought on several occasions. Fast forward about 20 years and I bought a bottle of 'extract' or 'essential oil' to mix in some home-made concoction. No connection at all between the scents. None. At. All. I've also recently sprayed Chanel Egoiste a few times, a cologne many say smells thoroughly of sandalwood from top notes to the base. Again, I can't pick up a connection, this neither to the soap nor the essence. Trumpers say they use real Mysore sandalwood, and many say they can smell it there. Based on my first reference, it has a very distinctive woody astringent quality, not really sweet at all but at the same time warm and inviting. However, the essence has a soft, smooth, creamy or milky (and almost imperceptible) tone. I'm not sure what is the most untrustworthy, the retailers or our noses! What do you think it should smell like?!

Hmm the sent isn't strong, but as a shaving cream, it's amazing.
