We had a black cat that always looked angry, but that's just the way he was made. He was the sweetest boy. Loved everyone. I still miss him 20 years later.

Pets sometimes get lost or get chased away from their homes by other animals. Absolutely no indicator the cat was neglected.

​@LOCHMIST Right, completely agree. There are many reasons pets get separated from great loving owners, that it often breaks their hearts too to lose a pet that was so special to them. Don't judge, if you haven't experienced it, then you clearly don't understand. The fact that he settled in so fast and knew the protocol speaks alot about him having come from a loving home!

It's not surprising he is well-mannered in the house. He obviously had lived the good life before and is happy to get off the streets, where it's rough. Much better to be indoors, sleep on soft cushions and get food all the time.

This is my Garfield; I just put him to sleep a week ago; he was a King till the very last second. He loved me and changed my life in the bestest of ways…. I learned so much from him; he even had manners!!! My orange cat was the smartest cat I ever had and I miss him sooooo much right now!!! ❤❤❤

I have a former feral cat that showed up on my porch 3 years ago named Kaiju. He is a chartreux cat which was so odd to just find night after night sneaking on to my screened in porch. One night I heard screeching and a dog growling and I ran outside in enough time to wrestle the sweet little grey cat from the dogs jaws. He was bloody and his head and ear were torn open and he was bleeding. I vowed to him that night he’d never know danger like that again. Now 3 years later he acts as though he was never feral, though he took MONTHS to decide to venture out from my downstairs bathroom. He’s so vocal and sweet. I’d love to share him with you guys! ♥️

You truly do have a love bug. Mine is too. He tried to be tuff and off Standish until he decided I didn't smell bad, that I cuddled my female cat and gave treats and love rubs. Didn't take too long until he let his shield fall off. Your cat looks similar to mine. Such sweeties.
