Hallo hallo, I found you thanks to searching for first-time players of my favourite games. :) And as a big stardew fishing fan, here are my top tips: - like real fishing, one has to stay calm. The bar goes up by click and hold (or on switch pressing the button) and goes down if one stops cklicking/pressing. So try to only holdithe button when you need the bat to go up and realise when it needs to get down. Wild buttonmashing or clicking when one is stressed will barly bring results. - carp at the mountain lake are very slow, if they move at all. They are perfect for leveling, which will make the bar bigger - get the best fishing as soon as your level up allows. Then you can put in trinkets that allow different boosts. Have fun with the game :)
