Next time done use plastic cups as they are to light , try using a brick to place the wood ontop of. I would also do just an all white resin base for the back and seal it after the front is obii done. I would use sand paper and smoothen the edges and then seal it one last time and apply hinges at the back.

Beautiful! I also cover letters in resin, but I've not tried geode style and I'm intrigued. Just a helpful tip...run your heat gun along the drips on back before removing the tape. The tape releases so much easier!

This tape was the devil trying to get off Especially after the resin dried over it. I wanted to cry because I still ha e like blue specks of tape and pieces that won't come off.

Do you supposed to paint both sides of the letter or no or you can if you want to 🤔 And can you show us how do you mix your paint with resin And I was wondering if the heat gun the same thing as a torch 🤔 or do you need both 🤔

Hey😊 !! I don’t paint both sides I intended it to more on a wall hanging. But you totally can of you want!! I actually use mica powder for this project. I take my popsicle stick and I scoop out a little bit on the tip and mix it in the resin . the pigment is pretty strong so you don’t need to much. Mmmm I don’t used a torch personally but a lot of other do so I can’t really tell you the difference 😅 I hope this helped!!!
