Geoff Being A Dislikeable Character For 17 Minutes [Total Drama]

Wanna know why I hate Geoff? He basically is the main reason why Bridgette got worse and worse during the series.
Bridgette was really good and really enjoyable... but Geoff... he is such a bad character in my opinion:
-On Island he was alright... he had his moments sometimes (like on the episode he was Gwen’s partner) and his relationship with Bridgette wasn’t that bad yet
-On Action he was SO ANNOYING! First he got eliminated by making out with Bridgette (Which was fair to be honest). And then you’re gonna remove his love for Bridgette (Aka the reason he got eliminated on Action) on the aftermath episodes and make him a jerk? It kinda makes his elimination kinda weird and it makes you feel like he shouldn't have been on this second season in the first place... Out of everyone, seeing Geoff as the “is my hair good? You should lose some weight” just doesn’t feel right for his character...
-On World Tour, he was not that great either, with him and Blaineley being the hosts... I mean it was good seeing Geoff having revenge to Blaineley after seeing what she did to bridgette... but he was still... eh...
-On the Spin Off (RR), he luckly returned to his more chill character, but he was still an "Eh..." character for me.
Anyway back to Bridgette, I feel like after Island, she got worse because of her relationship with Geoff... she was such a great character on Island... and after seeing how they treated her afterwards is kinda disappointing
So yeah that’s why I hate Geoff and feel like he’s the reason why Bridgette got overshadowed after Island. He's actually the only Season 1 character that i actually hate.

I LOVED Geoff and Bridgette’s relationship in season 1. It was great to see how the characters panned out and stuff. Geoff was an ok character, he wasn’t the worst but wasn’t the best either. Bridgette on the other hand was such a GREAT character. I was so excited to watch the two of them progress in season 2 and up but it didn’t happen. Bridgette was a great character before as she could put her team and friends first. She was a nice person too who was really likeable. Them making out every second really annoyed me, because they wasted such a good character like Bridgette. The writers ruined their characters by adding their relationship. It’s a kind of similar situation with Duncan and Courtney

Geoff represents a toxic relationship. He makes fun of you and all of your friends making everyone feel down, he cannot respect decisions you may want to make, he is more concerned about himself and his features than the more important things in life, he is horrible with commitment and cannot read a room, he will say whatever he has to say to get money and would throw you under the bus for a tiny spec of fame, he doesn’t make an effort to know you and gives up too quickly. Geoff also abandoned DJ in the ep "hook , line and screamer" because DJ ask Geoff to guard him while he went to the bathroom. Geoff left DJ alone when Geoff heard a ice cream truck { which is a trap by Chris}. In the elimination ceremony DJ got kicked off because he didn't get scared by Chef in a killer outfit DJ instead got scared by Heather with a green face mask. If Geoff haven't of left DJ for a ice cream trap then DJ wouldn't have got scared by Heather and therefore wouldn't been eliminated. People talked badly about Owen throwing Izzy at Chef to save himself but no one hold Geoff accountable for leaving DJ alone in the ep "hook , line and screamer" especially because DJ got eliminated from Total Drama because of Geoff's idiocy.

People in the comments need to realize every time some changes their character, it’s not always meant to make you like them. They wanted Geoff to get development and being a bad guy was a good way to brighten him up. It shows in Ridonculous Race Geoff coming up with some killer one liners about his opponents or teammates whenever they try to insult him for being a dumb surfer dude. If it was Island Geoff going straight into RR, then he wouldn’t have the development that was shown.

Geoff would even go far as feed Gwen to piranhas when it wasn't even her fault, it was Trent's fault (and partly Owen's because he is the one who gave him the idea) and put eliminated contestants on the electric chair the chair used to kill people for their crimes

I don't hate Geoff for this. I hate the script for Geoff's character. Whoever wrote him like this for the aftermath show needs to take a hike. Geoff was super nice on TDI. He would've never made any insults towards Bridgett (especially not like that), unless it was something cheesy. I found the Aftermath show to be absurdly boring anyway.

This reminds me of Neda's story arc on Big Brother Canada. She was one of the fan favorites from her original season because of how chill and great she was at building positive relationships with others in the game despite the amount of twists thrown at her. But then her second season she was given safety and felt the urge to bully Sindy, cater to ratings with no filter, being all sorts of nasty throughout the show, to the point one of her past allies who also returned loudly and rightfully voted her out.

Also forgot in season 1 when Bridget got voted off because Duncan got three votes and he was the last person to get an marshmallow and in order for Bridget to be kicked off she needs 4 votes. The votes when like is Owen got two {Heather and Lindsay] Duncan got three { Bridget, Leshawna and Gwen} which mean Bridget got 4 votes [ Duncan, Owen and DJ] are confirmed while the two people who didn't confirmed their vote were Geoff and Izzy. Why would Izzy vote for Bridget? maybe because of the skunk stink but other than that no other reason while Geoff have a bigger reason because he agreed with the other guys to vote off someone together and that someone is Bridget which means he lied to Bridget and to make thing worse tried to give her a goodbye kiss but backed off at the last second because of the skunk stink. Which also means Brigette hooked up with the guy that got her eliminated from the show.
