Geoff said that these are the Ghost Riders (in the sky) BEFORE they became ghosts. 🙂 And he also said that he, Geoff, is not in this song, for they are Goff, Daryl, Jeoph and Jeff, his clones, who he left unsupervised for once. 😁😅 Anyway, I'm no gamer, so I don't know the game and I did not know the song beforehand, but I just LOVE this song, and its mood reminds me of the "doom & gloom", ominous feeling in the first half of "I see fire". 🙂 I also loved the nod to "16 tons", when he uses the rifles to make the kick drum beat. 🙂 Really appreciated your reaction, as always. 🙂 See you next time!

I think "Country Blues" is actually a very good description. Me, I can't decide what my favorite special effect sound on this one is. The wind? The spurs? The heartbeat? Oh, it's all so good. And yes, Geoff doesn't hear the thunder, he BRINGS the thunder!

Eli did the lighting for this one - he did a great job. Geoff just wanted to visit the Earth's core a few times and then threw in a high note at the end just to remind us of his insane range. 🔥🌹🕊

The first drop is a subharmonic. After that the clones pull off every technique I could name for singing bass. Chest fry, open chest, airy push, growl notes...a number of others I don't even have a name for. This is a skills display. And, it's awesome.

Dang!! Love the clones. Geoff starting to sing more with his super low notes as a regular part of his arrangements. Great western vibe. Deep...dark...haunting. Ain't messin' with these dudes!

I haven’t played the game but a few people have said that this song comes in at a turning point in the game where he has to make a decision about which side of the line he’s going to stay on. It does suit that feeling to me. It reminds me a bit of I See Fire where the dwarves are just at the edge of going into battle and they’ve decided that they accept their fate. This gives me a lot of those same feelings.

love the fact that he said these are the Ghost Riders before they died, and he let them do this song without his supervision. I absolutely love this cover. I had to look up the original by D'Angelo, but this is far superior IMO. Those low notes rumble in my chest. Also, Daryl is the one in the Duster, and they are in front of Daryl's Cafe...lol. Geoff left me shooketh!! lol

The song AJ is talking about is "God's Gonna Cut You Down" by Johnny Cash and this song cover that Geoff sings is "Unshaken" originally by D'Angelo and its from Red Dead Redemption 2, not the first game so might be why some of you werent sure what part of the game it was from.

Geoff was sitting in front of Daryl's Cafe. He also does a short commercial for coffee in front of Daryl's Cafe. He stirs the coffee with his gun. He is in full dress character.

Lol it’s the clones getting practice to be ghost riders. Ya The song maybe unshaken, but I don’t think the earth is. Earthquakes probably dotted the earth when this came out.

Damn, a whole song of Jake Brake Geoff... I will never forget the first time I heard a reactor call his low rumble a Jake Brake and it was fucking amazing.

As a native Californian who can confirm that weird thing where we don't even register quakes under a certain point on the Richter Scale is indeed a real phenomenon, I must also confirm that I am indeed shaken by all these Geoff-Quakes. We need to make sure he doesn't come to this coast and sing live cause he could trigger a seismic event. 😂
