You can usually tell which of the reactors is a professional musician/singer by their response to that B0. It just goes past so many reactors, they don't know what they're hearing, it's just "a low note" - I think some of them don't even realize it's being created by Geoff. But then they freak out on the F#1 at the end of Geoff's verse, not realizing they've already heard a note 1/2 octave below that! It's kind of funny that for several of the professionals, the B0 just made them laugh, they were so astonished.

A lot of people miss he is sliding between the root and 5th. Fact is, a lot of people's hearing isn't trained to differentiate low notes very well. This is why even a lot of operatic basses tend to be sloppy and nobody ever notices them being a few cents off pitch. Now, a tenor does that and EVERYONE would notice.

I am endlessly amused by the fact that pretty much every person who really pays attention to the bass and occasionally pauses... does it right before the first B0 😂. I mean, I get it. But still it is so funny, cuz the drop before that is already so low its impressive and the B0 is delayed and the main melody leads up so it kinda just strikes out of left field... at least that's what I think is the reason, I'm not a music expert.
