PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING… Felt like Geoff needed an updated range video due to the massive influx of STUFF from him in recent years and the lack of any update videos on his range as of late. Before you ask about certain notes having been included/not included, I’ve pasted this in from the description to help: “Questionable Notes: E5 - Bro Country Live - probably just a random unintentional pitch X1 - Random growl slides - non-melodic, brief, unintentional pitches not worth counting A0 - Enemy slide - i debated this one for a while but decided its final pitch was likely unintentional and too brief to count, hence why the Just Sing E1 is counted as his lowest growl. I did count this in my Bass Singers Lowest & Highest Part 2 video, but that was because that video was made with the purpose of showing the extremes of people’s range. This video is (hopefully) showcasing good quality notes that he is capable of. Also i make up the rules as I go along X0 - shitty fry shit - don’t even need to explain why this isn’t included Corrections: 15:12 is an A1 Chest/Falsetto/Head/Mixed Voice - some of these are likely marked incorrectly in this video - soz. I’m not too good with technique in the upper voice so some chest notes might be head voice or whatever that means. Tried to be as accurate as possible, sorry if some are wrong I try to make these vocal range videos with variety in mind - showcasing a range of clips from lives, off mics, studio, different techniques and older videos, to showcase what someone’s voice can really do. If there’s a clip you were expecting to see and didn’t, it likely got cut in the name of variety (or I just didn’t like it as much as some others). Choosing only a handful of clips for each note is quite difficult when there’s like 20 good ones)” If that still doesn’t answer any note-related questions then go ahead. I have a bass voice, but I have gotten so out of practice with subharmonics that I can hardly do it anymore. I use more of my false cord scream these days. I could probably get back into it with some practice but never could get the level of mastery Geoff shows with that register! Mine was always a bit muddled.

Yooo, I was expectating for this to outcome for a long time!!! Great job, mate!!! I really appreciate your videos!!! What impresses me most here is the choose of clips you have made, which was a great choice to showcase Geoff´s range!!! 3:22 is mostly like a head dominant. 4:06 is a full chest note. 5:00 is actually a chest dominant-mix. You can really tell there´s so much chesty quaility on that note. 5:57 is what I just said above (this one is gritty, so it has more of a chesty sounding) 15:16 is an A1.🙂 6:40 is a head note, because it sounds fuller and compact than a falsetto does. A falsetto would sounding more nasal. P.S: Just like you said, there are some notes you marked mostly a little bit later than others, but I totally understand how hard it´s hard to edit all the stuff you put on your videos compilation, and reviewing that thing is not easy at all, but there´s nothing wrong with it! We all make mistakes, and we are all to learn and help with each other!!! Your hard work is PAYING OFF. Cheers, mate!!!😉

I thought 4:06 was pure chest too at first but looking back on it now the “I love you” (F4-Bb4) part sounds completely different from the “Peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches” (Bb3-Eb4) part. To be honest the C5 in “Jack’s Lament” sounds “chestier” than the Bb4 to me.

1:03 1:20 1:40 1:49 etc. these are very clearly not chest voice. A bass simply cannot sing it that softly. Don't underestimate how good falsetto/head voice can sound 4:06 Now this one does sound like very nasal, extra compressed chest voice 4:24 notice the voice crack on the second "the Oogie Boogie". That is Geoff going from mixed voice/head voice back into chest voice without masking it. Note, that it means that he sings the first *B3* in "*THE* oogie boogie man" in falsetto, and then switches to chest voice for the B3 "Oogie". Don't underestimate mixed voice/head voice/falsetto and how low it can go

In the song Valhalla Calling, as he hits the first B0 in the song, he holds it but slides up briefly to F#1, then back down to B0. Then in the rap section there's another B0. So i'd count that as three B0's. I'm not so sure there's one in the final chord, but if so, that'd be the fourth.
