They call it rebirth because it is something that Geoff johns is known for , Hal Jordan and Barry Allen was retconned back in to the DC universe thanks their respective rebirth books in the 2000s and brought back the idea of legacy and family between superheroes and this is very much the same since SPOILER ALERT:they retconned pre new 52 Wally west back , calling it rebirth is still a pretty good decision
