Cool video. I feel the same way about hardtails. Makes all the shore trails I’ve ridden a bunch a different level of fun.

@GeoffGulevich i see that you mainly ride orbea. I'm torn now between a HT or a FS lol I want simplicity not. Much of a tuner freak just want grab a bike n go. But yet I want the compliance of a FS (stumpjumper/kona process 134)😅 since I got old man knees and bad lower back and hips. I was looking to get a rocky Mountain Growler 50/roscoe 8/9. But after more research. I found this bike. Altho it cost alot more... and saw the orbea occam (roughly same price) what would be you're pick and why. Since look like or a orbea fan.
@GeoffGulevichАй бұрын
@@zoomzoomgt I would go Occam 100%. Cushion for the bones is always well received. The Occam is a very capable bike that pedals great. Especially if you’ve found a deal on one. That’s a no brainer in my opinion. Very light also!

I just built up a "budget" enduro hardtail. Full 29er with 160mm cane creek helm. The thing rips and brings me back to being a kid and sending stuff on hard tails all the time!

Does the longer chainstay length makes it harder to manual and what about the playfulness? Os it playful even with that long chainstay?
@GeoffGulevich2 ай бұрын
@@TiagoBettencourt-sk8dy it is actually pretty easy to maintain a manual. Just a bit harder to initiate with the weight, but you learn how to deal with that quickly.
