Hi Geoff, so great to see you & the Pinz back out on the trail!!! Bob V 76 Swiss Pinz subscriber here. Love the content & that pay to play trail! Im impressed you're able to steer with that front locker on. I only use it on straight runs. I added an old school Warn winch on mine recently. Nice to be able to have help out of tuff spots & ability to self rescue if needed. This vehicle always amazes me with its capabilities. Especially for the time it was built. So much more I want & need to do with mine. Your content has been a huge help! The manuals are good but nothing like seeing maintenence procedures being done. Please keep them coming! Good health wishes! Bob V

Thanks Bob! Good to hear from you! I am really glad that you find this content interesting, and the other Pinz related videos as well. I produce them for people like you, who can enjoy them for what they are worth. Still lots of work to do on mine, I hope I will be able to carry it all out before I grow old! Thanks for stopping by, it is always a pleasure to hear from you. All the best! Geoff

I agree on the front diff lock. I park mine with the front diff locked for theft prevention. On dry pavement I doubt anyone could get it out of my driveway.

@@briandechant972 Great idea! That front locker makes it near impossible to steer.

So good to see the return of the Pinz. and nice to see that the only water in the cab this time is the bottle of spring water on the top of the dash

Awesome! So cool! You are going to LOVE it! This thing is a beast, and exceeds my own capacities by far. Furthermore, it gets a lot of attention wherever you go, be it at a petrol station or at pay-and-play places like this... Mine is a '73. I still have so many things to do to it, you will definitely be seeing more of it on here in due course. Thank you for watching!

@@gmcevoy I can only imagine. I know I would be like a kid in a candy store if I saw something like this in person. Kind of hard to believe I will own one very soon! I will make sure to send some vids after I go through it and make sure it is good to go.

@gmcevoy GOT IT!! one question though if you know. Locker hydraulic fluid is very low. What kind of fluid does it take? DOT4 like the brakes?
@gmcevoy
@gmcevoy Жыл бұрын
Awesoooome! @@AramatOverlanding Yes, DOT4. It the level is low, there is probably a leak somewhere. As with the brakes, it is a closed circuit, so low level would indicate a weak spot somewhere. If you are mechanically inclined, I would strongly suggest buying a copy of the workshop manual and parts catalogue. They are available in English. Have fun getting acquainted with your Pinzgauer! Feel free to send some pics to info@mcevoy.be if you like. If you're okay with it, I would gladly include them in a Community post and/or in the next video! In any case, enjoy the best 4WD to have ever existed on the face of the earth! 🙂

Can you tell me how to turn on the high beam on this car?
@gmcevoy
@gmcevoy Жыл бұрын
Hi there! Thank you for stopping by. Pull the indicator lever towards you. A relay switches from low to high. Pull it again to go back to low beam. Note that if you wish to flash your lights, you have to pull it twice in quick succession, as there is no "flash" position.
