Geogen Update 0.2.0 New Features

hey great vidd!! Though i have a quick question, how do you make islands in geo gen ehich i can export to unreal and use them. Any thoights or suggestions?

Good question, I haven't made any so far as they generally require a bit more work. From what I understand you will want to make a mask that is in the shape of the island so could import a mask of an actual island/country or make one via shapes then editing them to look more realistic. After you have a base you like I believe the slice mask or something will turn the mask into geometry(might not be that, that could be removing I can't remember but use the node that turns masks into geometry. Once you have that make sure it's elevated enough so you can add water and from there it's just your usual nodes for if you want a sandy beach, eroded volcano and so forth.

Thank you, I have plans to do a liquigen basics video as well. Going to do some testing around the 12th of Feb when closed alpha opens up then will probably need a couple weeks to accustom myself
