Brazil is an amazing country coz I really love the entire forest area which is also called as the 'lungs of the world' and also that the Maharashtra state board's entire 10th std syllabus was based on India and Brazil comparison. E perderiam elas da mesma forma, por qualquer país que seja.... E levar riquezas da colônia pra metrópole era um costume da época, e boa parte desse ouro ficou no Brasil, Porque o ciclo do ouro entre outros fatores, foi o que mudou de fato o Brasil colônia de um período de apenas exploração, para um povoamento, já que vieram muitos africanos serem mão de obra e também portugueses...

Correcting some facts on the deforestation of the Amazion: 70% of the food consumed by the Brazillian population comes from small family agriculture (the source of this info is the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics - IBGE). The deforestation is largely cased by ultra rich and large tycoons, and it aims to vacate land to produce mostly soy or other grains aimed to feed cattle. The ultimate goal: export and make more money. So its actually way more complicated than that.
