To be honest, I m not an expert in Datamine I tried version 1.6 when they introduced the implicit features, and I would say they are okay but not the best! if you are looking for a mining package ( not just geological modeling, because in that case, LP is the best) Micromine is the best!

Hello Dear, a great lesson as usual, may i ask you if the datamine can create a 3D model from surface data like in leapfrog and Geomodeller?

It is not as easy in LF or Geomodeller, but I think if you know how to use the different implicit tools you can combine strings digitized on a plane that represents geological interfaces with others from sections to make it work

@@MiningGeologist Thanks so much dear for your reply, im worm waiting your implicit model plugin in Qgis and some Udemy courses in using it. It will be great to make courses in open source software because open ones are available for all geologists who can't pay for commercial ones, specially students and governments even small exploration companies.

Thanks, How faults are drawn in the software? Does it drawn(interpreted) by the geologist in the site or it can be drawn in the office?

@@pierre-olivierleroux2156 if you right-click in an empty place in the menu bar and then click customize quick access Toolbar . in the dropdown menu where it says Main by default do you see an option it says geology ? if not then I think it has something to do with your licence and you need to check with the Datamine support team

@@MiningGeologist Alright I don't see any "Geology" ribbon. I believe it must be an advanced/extra feature not included in standard Datamine licenses. I'll check with technical support, thanks for your assistance.
